Duff's pov:

Something about Steven seems off.
He hasn't really been sleeping.
It can't be a jetlag, there isn't any time difference.

I have been keeping an eye on him, but no one else seems to notice it.

Christmas was pretty fun though.
Coming out was really nothing special. Everyone was happy for us.

Especially my aunt.

Steven and I did a lot of fun things with violet.

Eventhough I was worrying for some time, I really enjoyed our trip.

We're at the airport right now.

"Well, at least we have our seats next to each other this time." Mom says.
"Does anyone want a sandwich?"

"Yes please." I say as my stomach growls.

"No thanks, I'm not hungry." Steven says.

Mom gets up to buy us some food.

"Too bad we don't have a row for ourselfs again." I whisper in his ear.

"Hmm, I'm a bit tired anyway." Steven says.

"Oh okay." I say, and place my hand on his arm.

The flight was kind of boring, so was the car ride home. I guess we all were tired out.

I've tried pushing my concern for Steven away.

I gotta think about it rational, what could make him feel this way?

How is he feeling anyway?

Well, we just spent the holidays at my family's home, he could just be missing his family.

As a day passes by, Steven has been acting normal again, in my eyes at least.

Mom has to work today.

"Hey, I wanna go to Felix and Ahmed's place, do you wanna come?" Steven asks me.

"Sure, we got nothing better to do." I say, Steven gets a smile on his face.

We get in his car.

Steven drives to Felix and Ahmed's place.

"Hey man! How are you?" Ahmed says as he opens the door.

"These are Jenny and Iris, these are Steven and Duff." Ahmed introduces us.

Robbie is here too.

We have a seat and start some small talk.

"Okay, so we were doing 36 questions. Wanna join?" Jenny asks.

"Sure sounds fun." Steven says, I nod.

"Okay, we were at question thirteen, if a crystal ball could tell you the truth about yourself, your life, the future or anything else, what would you want to know." Jenny reads off her phone.

"Easy, I would ask how to become a millionaire." Robbie says.

I chuckle.
"Maybe you should ask how to get a date." I say, the others laugh.

"Oh come on, that was uncalled for." Robbie laughs.

We hang out until 7. Ahmed bought us all some pizza.

"And then he said, that isn't a camel, that's my wife." Felix finishes his story.

"Oh shoot, we gotta go home." Jenny says, she and Iris get up.
