"Ugh!" I moaned bored to death. "She's never coming out."

We've been outside Ash's house for five minutes but I swear I felt like hours.

"Oh, I know!" I said leaning from the backseat forward.

"Don't you dare," threatened Cole pushing my head back.

"Okay fine!" I groaned. Mu ha ha lies. I jumped forward and honked the horn.

"Caroline!"

"Just pull another, oh hey baby you looking fine today," I tried saying in a deeper man voice.

"It's too soon, she'll figure out my trick."

"Fine, fine- oh look, finally!" I relaxed when I saw Ash emerge.

She stormed to the car, again.

"Are you trying to embarrass me," she yelled once she opened the door.

"He's not, but I am. I loathe waiting," I emphasized. "Cole tried to stop me but I'm unstoppable."

Cole gave me a thankful look through the rear-view mirror. The ride to school felt so long with Ash complaining how she so preferred Team Demons over Team Stephani... Or were they called something else.

As I got out the car I made sure to whisper to Cole that next time we turn on the radio. He nodded in agreement looking exhausted. He was such a good boyfriend. He nodded, smiled, and frowned at all the right moments still maintaining to look entertained. He should win an Oscar.

I rolled my eyes at Ash's best friends, Beatrice and Mira, who were flirting with the twins. Aiden dated Tris once, they did not last long.

"Cole! Care! Aaaaash," Dylan tried to emphasize so the two girls can leave the twins alone who looked so uncomfortable now that I had to fight my urge to laugh at them.

Tris and Mira's attention now turned toward us. They hugged Ash making sure to complement her purse which looked like any other purse in my opinion. A few boys from the soccer team shot us some hello's.

"Will you be coming to practice next week? We had fun," I was asked by the fish with the dimples blushing a bit, found out his name was Quin.

"Yeah, you killed it on the field last time," said the mop hair kid, Eddy.

"I've got Mathletes on Wednesday but I'll make sure to come on Monday," I promised.

"Awesome! We'll see you around," winked the boy with the dyed tips, Trevor.

When they left the whole crew started to laugh.

"Oh my god this is precious!" Mason whipped a tear, holding Matt who was too weak from laughter to stand.

"What?" I asked.

"They are crushing on you it's gross," Cole wrinkled his nose.

"Well I think it's sort of cute," said Thea looking at Dylan for support.

"Yeah completely adorable," said Aiden coming to squish my cheeks put I slapped his hands away.

"They're not crushing, they're just in awe at my awesomeness like everyone is cause I'm just that awesome," I shrugged with a sly grin on my face. I wasn't crush material, I knew it and so did everyone else or so I thought.

"I don't get it," Tris made those duck lips.

"That's sort of cool Caroline, how does it feel to have your first group of junior puppies?" asked Mira. If I had to chose which one of Ash's friends I liked more; I'd go with Mira.
