Zendaya

Jahseh still doesn't say anything, but he just continues staring at me with wide eyes, so I continue.

"There, I finally got it off my chest. I love you. I mean, how can I not? Yeah you were a full mode asshole in the beginning, but we found a way to get along and you are such a gentleman and sweetheart, when you want to be and you're very protective. I think you're the one who mostly gives me hope about myself, cause you never say anything about my weight problem or- or about how clueless I am towards a lot of things, but you get that I'm different, even though you don't treat me like it. I just love everything about you; your hair, hugs, kisses, attitude, smile, kindness and patience with everything I do. You know, I didn't want to tell you because I was afraid to scare you away, but I think my baby is gonna adore you-" I pause and watch Jahseh's eyes drift down to my stomach and I smile.

"My baby moves around when you're near. And when you talk and touch me, lord this child kicks so hard that sometimes it hurts. I don't mind it, because we both get excited when we hear your voice and see you. But yeah, you're just amazing and you would have made a great dad..." I whisper softly and he nods, then lifts his head back up to me. His eyes are gleaming and I can't help but smile at him.

"So, you love me?" He raises a brow and I nod.

"Yeah, but you don't have to love me back or anything." I rush out and he sighs, then stands up, holding a hand out to me. I take it and he pulls me up from the merry go round. I stand on my feet and he crushes me to him. My face buries into his shirt and I muffle out a giggle. He pulls back and brushes a piece of hair out of my face.

"You are so beautiful, unique, brave and caring. I love you too." He smirks and I feel my face heat up.

"You're not just saying it back to spare my feelings, are you?" I lean back and he shakes his head, tightening his arms around me.

"Nah, shorty. I love you, I love you, I love you." He smiles and I giggle and gasp as he presses my stomach against his.

"Your baby is kicking the shit out of me right now." He chuckles and I nod.

"Don't worry, it's a good thing." I wrap my arms around his neck and he leans down.

"So, does this all mean I can ask you out, and you'll say yes because we both love each other?" He tilts his head and I nod.

"Yeah I guess so, but-"

"Trevor?" He frowns and I nod.

"Zendaya honestly, wh-"

"I'm over it." I interrupt him and his eyes widen.

"Seriously?" He grins and I giggle.

"Yes-"

"Thank you!" He exclaims and leans over, molding his lips with mine. I giggle a little, but eventually start kissing him back. When he pulls away, I sigh happily and rest my head against his chest.

"My feet hurt." I frown and he laughs.

"Well then lets go home. Oh and Zendaya?" He stops me from moving and I smile.

"Yeah?"

"Be my girlfriend? Please, shorty?" He pouts, sticking out his bottom lip and I laugh.

"Yes Jahseh, now stop being silly." I roll my eyes and he lets me go, but locks our fingers together.

"I'm serious." He mumbles and I laugh, shoving him playfully.

"Whatever."

One Week Later...

"You sure you want to go and do this, Zendaya?" Cleo rubs my shoulder comfortingly and I nod, while Jahseh tightens his hold on my hand. I smile up at him and he leans down, kissing my cheek softly.

"Oh my god, you two are just so cute. I knew Jahseh was what you needed from me, I knew it." Cleo chirps and I giggle.

"Thanks, Cleo." I smile and she nods.

"Okay, ready to go?" Jahseh raises a brow and I nod, saying bye to Cleo and Aiden and we leave the house getting into his car, taking off.

"So, how do you feel?" He makes conversation as he drives and I groan.

"Nervous, angry, confused, eager. Should I go on?" I roll my eyes and he laughs.

"If you want to, but you sure you want to go through this? I can turn around and give you a foot massage when we get home..." He teases me and I laugh.

"As tempting as it sounds, no Jahseh. I need to do this, I need to talk to my mom. I just need to understand why she did what she did." I whisper the last part and he nods slowly.

"Speaking of your mom, that makes me think back to Nate and when we are gonna tell my parents about him?" He glances over at me and I sigh.

"Right well... I want to just tell them after I give birth." I mumble and he nods.

"Two more months, okay." He turns up the radio that was playing faintly in the background the whole time. While the music plays, I think about my mom. Of course I miss her, but I don't miss the shit she put us through.

I definitely don't miss that.

She's the reason why I'm so fucked up, she's the reason why I'm so lost in my education and she's the reason why I'm pregnant. I roll my eyes but place my hands on my stomach, inwardly asking for my baby to kick or something, but no, the stubborn child wants to not listen. I smirk and look at Jahseh.

"Hey Jahseh, say something." I smile and he frowns.

"Uh, something?" He asks confused and I feel a small kick, but I want to feel more.

"Keep talking." I urge and he glances over at me and glances down, before turning his attention back to the road.

"Oh, I see what you're doing, trying to get me to win you free kicks." He chuckles and I lift up my red knee length sundress, and look closely.

The doctor told me the kicks were gonna start getting stronger to the point where I could see them. I stare at my enlarged stomach and watch as certain parts of my stomach jump. I smile softly and lean the seat back and place my hands on my stomach. As the car ride gets smoother and the music gets softer, I find myself falling asleep somewhere between the baby kicking me lightly and Jahseh reaching over and grabbing my hand.
