Shaking your head at the memories you went back to change into some pants since Marco got your skirt wet this morning. Aside from that your top remained the same. You turned to the blonde who was finishing dressing up. From outside Shadis shouting was heard, stating that everyone was free to go and do whatever the fuck they want. When you finished changing you patiently waited for Annie, wanting to still spend time with her.

Despite there being a possibility of her murdering you.

I'd honestly probably thank her.

"You done?" you asked as she finished tying up her shoes.

Her blue eyes simply started back at you, "no," she said as she stood next to you. All dressed up.

Ah, sarcasm. I almost thought she meant it.

Right, when the two of you were ready to step out the rest of the girls arrived at the barracks to change.

"Is this where you headed to after leaving the tests?" asked the freckled lesbian as she walked to her bed.

"I didn't see a point to just standing there and doing nothing," you shrugged your shoulders though the lesbian said that she wished that she did the same thing as you. Annie then left the building without you causing you to chase after her.

"Say, Annie, why did you join the training corp?" you skipped around her like an idiot. Her blue orbs following your form go around her.

"To join the Military Police."

You then started walking next to her like a normal human, "a safe life inside the wall huh?"

She hummed, "yes. That and I feel like it is my duty to help people."

"Ah, I'm still not sure of where I'm going," you replied while placing both hands behind your head, "probably with the scouts, since that's where the majority of my family is at." You thought back to all of the captains and the commander. The female seemed surprised at the fact that your family was in the scouts. "Well, they aren't my biological family, but they're family non less."

Wow, that felt.... Like cringe.

Yeah, never saying something like that again.

The rest of the walk to the common area was short, so there wasn't much of awkward silence. Once inside you both served yourselves food and started eating in silence.

It felt weird to be a twelve-year-old hanging out with a fourteen-year-old. Usually, back at home you'd see a middle schooler and say it's on sight, but now you are that middle schooler. Hanging out with someone who would maybe be in their freshman year of high school.

There was a comfortable silence for several minutes until more and more people started to fill the dining hall.

Jean and Marco sat at the table next to Eren's. The horse seemed annoyed at Marco who kept on talking to him while glancing your way every once in a while. The concern is evident in his brown eyes.

"Can't believe he took it personally," you mumbled while staring at the duo. Annie looked up with a confused expression, "oh, it's nothing to worry about," you waved your hands at the girl.

"Hey, (Y/n). Mind if we join you?" asked the voice of a blond male. Looking up you see both of the giants standing next to the table. You looked for Annie wanting to see if she too gave consent to their presence but she was nowhere to be seen.

"Sure!" you replied with a cheerful tone.

These guys really don't seem bad at all, but they're still traitors to humanity.
