Might lose some readers for this shitty chapter, but fuck it. I tried. Also sorry if this feels a bit rushed, it's like 1 am and my brain really said 'time to write shit you bean-' so yuh. Anyway sleepy time.

There was no training, only chores. Shadis stated that he wanted the entire place nice and clean. You're not quite sure why although you did not pay attention when he was shouting instructions this morning. So that could be the reason why you are so lost. Then again you never really knew what was happening, just accepted it and went with the flow.

You should probably work on that, after all, it is the main reason why you are failing in some subjects here. Not bad though, just not doing great is all.

"Hey (Y/n), looks like we are stuck together for stable duty," Marco commented as he appeared out of nowhere.
"We are?" you asked with a tired voice before yawning loudly. Freckled boy gave you a concerned look since it wasn't like you to be tired in the morning, surprisingly, usually, you're a ball of energy. Constantly talking and joking in the mornings, maybe throw hands with a person who decided to slander a friend of yours. There was this specific trio that did try to slander some of the less confident when they were alone.

It was that one homophobic girl, some random guy, and a dude with spiral-like hair whose name is Floh?

Flock?

Flo?

.....

Florida???

You don't actually remember his name but one thing for sure is that you're going to rock his shit sometime pretty soon because he called Armin a loser. Yeah, he may call you a stupid person but that is kind of true so you'll give him that. For now.

"Well, what were you doing last night?"

"Uhhh-"

What was I doing last night?

You looked around trying to remember what thoughts that consumed your mind that caused you to lose sleep.

Oh, yeah, I had an identity crisis.

"Spent most of the night thinking about stuff, y'know?" You looked at the taller freckled boy who walked beside you.

He simply gave you a nervous smile, "well you are a strange girl, no offense, so I'm not quite sure what you are thinking about." A small frown appeared on your face upon hearing him call you a girl. Now, there isn't anything wrong about girls at all, it's just that it doesn't feel like you. You've actually started questioning it for a couple of weeks now."Did I offend you?"

You moved your head side to side trying to find a way to explain how you felt since this is the first time in a while since you questioned something big about yourself, the last time being your sexuality. Which should be obvious by now that it's not Heterosexual or ..... Superstr- Ummm yeah no.

"NO! It's just that I uhh, hmmm." You continued to walk with eyes closed and arms crossed, "being called a girl just doesn't sit with me," you could hear Marco hum a way of letting you know that he is listening.

"So you don't feel like a girl?"

Looking up at him you shook your head.

Upon arriving at the stables you both continued to talk about something else since you didn't really want to bother him with the current situation you were having. Although he would occasionally bring up the subject.

"If that's the case I'll avoid referring to you as a girl," he offered while brushing his horse, which was oddly named Arson. Probably because you called them that for a week and-wait, what was happening again.
