Having once made a mistake as a child that would end up with you being punished you did the wise thing. Hide in your bed under the blankets and hope that your parents would forget about you breaking the vase.
Even though it wasn't your fault and your slightly tipsy mother knocked it down. Then again you were a child trying to get a taste of the adult juice they were trying and of course minors can't drink. So instead they gave you a shot glass with caprisun and called it adult juice.
Surprisingly it worked.
"Oh wow, you didn't wake up early today." spoke a voice above you before hitting you with a blanket. The bed next to yours was empty, as always. Your old bed mate person creature thing you shared with was that homophobic girl. Said she didn't wanna get the 'disease of liking women' and went to the other side of the building with some other girls.
That's not important, right now at least.
Ymir chuckled before continuing, "is the guilt of almost killing half of the cadets taking over now?" The shorter blonder next to her ripped the blanket off her hand and tried returning it.
"There's no reason to be so rude, Ymir, I'm sure that (Y/n) just made a mistake in the kitchen. It's no big deal." Historia tried to reason, of course, you knew the truth. You tried giving unseasoned bitches some flavor. Only for a majority to react negatively to it, you didn't even add a lot either.
Oh well, some things will never change.
Using your arms to cover your face you rolled off the bed and were greeted with the hardwood floor, "I need to get dressed to prepare the horses for our guest." Pushing yourself up you started to get into your uniform. Just the typical pants and white shirt and all, nothing special. Since you're a soldier and all.
You were pretty sure outside were many other of your fellow cadets making their way around the area, walking to the dining hall or some other place. Seeing as Ymir was ready before you. Usually, you make it to the dining hall before the area is flooded by others. Although recently you have been waking up a little later than usual. You only noticed because it was now Annie waiting for you to finish getting ready rather than you waiting for her to finish changing in the corner.
"You're almost done?"
Annie asked above as you tried to pull up your boot over your somewhat bigger calf. You really have been getting quite a bit of leg muscle after doing some training that you have done recently with Armin. He asked for help after you found him screaming in the middle of the woods that one time.
"Yeah, just have to put this on," you groaned as you tried doing a little hope in hopes of something happening. Maybe your brain thought that gravity would help you get in easier or something. Whatever it was it was stupid because this Lil jump caused you to fall onto the ground, well your boot did slip-on. To the extent of looking stupid in front of Annie, and along with the other girls in the cabin, but you certainly did feel embarrassed upon realizing that you fell flat to your face right in front of her. "Do you think I can say I'm sick or something, just to not show up or anything?"
"No," turning your face around you looked up at her with a confused expression, "you didn't have any food yesterday that was meant for the cadets."
"You're right, the food would've been a good excuse to pretend I died or something."
There was a pause before Annie coughed and stated that it was time to. Lazily pushing yourself up you followed the warrior across the grounds on the way to the dining hall. The grounds were filled with many other cadets, a sight which you weren't quite used to since both you and Annie were out before anyone else.
