There they stood, staring at the house before them, well, better said the weird shack before them, they all stared, as if it was something majestic, because that's what everyone does when they look at a building, stare at it and wait for someone to say something smart, or from their bottom of their hearts, or at least, that's how it works in movies, so they dramatically stared at the house, before a voice interrupted their staring

"Are you comin' in or what?" This took the twins by surprise, Mabel yelped and almost fell backwards before Dippers head whipped around the place, trying to find the source of the voice, Luz let out a soft pained smile as she walked over to the house "yeah, where coming, c'mon guys!" As she started to head to the door, Mabel and Dipper didn't know where the voice came from, so got ready to run it something tried to attack them

Yet, when they got closer, they realized a crucial detail....

The door... Had a face.

THE DOOR HAD A FACE??!

Now that's something you don't see often, and you could tell by how Dipper immediately and subconsciously whipped out his journal and pencil, while Mabel was in awe, this thing was a face on a door, and it had spoke!! And what was even more important, it sounded so annoying!

Luz chuckled a bit as she looked at Dipper, but slowly she realized he was as going to ask question, and that was one of her rules, don't.question.Hooty. period, if you did, well, he wouldn't stop talking for a bit too long for her liking, honestly if she ever was going to torture someone, she'd tie them outside of the Owl House and tell Hooty they wanted to ask him about his whole life story, every single piece of it

"Hello Luz! Hoot Hoot, are these your frieeeend's?" He asked as he twisted his head, this made Luz snap out of her thoughts, Mabel seemed...confused by how he was moving around the door, Luz gave her a smile to try and calm her "yeah Hooty, they're my friends" Said Luz as she then looked over her shoulder to Dipper and Mabel "they um...Eda let me bring them"

Hooty then slowly started stretching out of the door, this made Mabel Yelp and flal backwards, while Dipper was in awe as well of being freaked out "Oookay I  do not like that" said Mabel as she looked at Hooty, not sure how to feel about this stretchy wood- wait...where those feathers? Yeah, she did not like that at all.

Luz rubbed out whatever Hooty started to say when she noticed Dipper not writing...drawing something, she quickly snatched the book and closed it, he seemed to about to say something as she did a quick signal to shush him,which he nodded to bit didn't seem to happy, Luz just opened the door ignoring Hooty as she then gestured Mabel and Dipper to come in, which they did

Once inside she closed the door, Hooty still rambling to himself about how he had eaten a green bug, that tickled his throat as it crawled in there, which Luz promptly ignored, "I wish I could have said the same, he gave so many...details..." Mabels stomach started to churn and she knew Dippers was too by how he started to look nauseous and very disgusted

"Sorry about him...he's...well, he's him, there isn't anything to really explain his behavior, he was like this when I got here" she said as she gave Mabel and Dipper a smile, Dipper just gave a smile as he then waved it off "it's fine, we've heard worse"

At this Mabel chuckled "and seen worse" as she then stuck her tongue out, giving out a "bleugh" sound, man Dipper remember so many things that they had seen when they where at Gravity Falls last summer, it was hilarious for the most part, but terribly disgusting in the other
