"channie hyung?" jisung fiddled with his fingers, not daring to look the elder in the eye. the atmosphere had been quiet ever since chan and changbin arrived and found jisung crying quietly in one corner of the practice room, hurrying over to comfort the boy.
the eldest hummed in response, patting jisung on the back, still holding the youngest close. a few buzzes came from jisung's phone and he looked to chan, gulping nervously. "w-what do we do now?"
chan pulled away, looking at jisung and feeling his heart break at the sight of jisung's tear-stained face and reddened eyes.
he sighed, putting his hand out in front of the youngest who simply looked confused. "you'll be fine sung. it's not your fault, promise," he stretched out his other arm to hold out a pinky, pinky promising jisung that everything would be okay.
"can i take a look at your phone?" jisung nodded, handing his phone to chan, before stretching his arms out and gesturing for changbin to hug him.
he loved receiving hugs from changbin, even if it didn't happen often. he loved changbin's warm hugs, it gave him just the warmth he needed to feel better, and it worked every time.
