"monoma-kun you seem happy today, did something good happen?" pony asked, tilting her head to the side. instead of answering his classmate, neito's attention was focused on a certain h/c haired girl from across the lunch room.
"pony-chan look at his gaze. he's staring at l/n-chan, isn't that adorable?" setsuna winked, a grin spread across her lips. "but monoma-kun could still respond to me" pony pouted, folding her arms.
"do you want me to-" itsuka joined in the conversation, raising her hand towards neito's neck. "i-itsuka-chan that won't be needed" pony squeaked out, waving her hands around.
"it's like he's in a world of his own..well monoma-kun is always in his own world" setsuna rested her chin in her palm, poking her lunch with a chopstick.
"i wonder what he's thinking about" the blonde girl thought, turning her blue eyes away from neito and towards the others on the table. "definitely something including y/n-chan that could never happen" itsuka replied, adding a short laugh at the end.
"something petty as well" yui finally spoke up, nearly placing her chopsticks on her finished lunch.
"come on yui, monoma-kun isn't that bad. just a little off" the green haired girl teased while yui raised a brow. "i guess we forgetting he once edited a wikipedia page to win an argument" itsuka added.
"don't do my bro monoma like that!" a loud voice exclaimed as tetsutesu plopped down on a seat at the table the four girls plus neito were sitting at "when did monoma get a harem?"
"a h-harem?? as in the stuff you seen in shojo beat manga?" pony squeaked out, a pink tinting her cheeks. "please the one in our class who could get it and shit would be kaibara-kun" setsuna raised a finger. "someone who isn't mentally unstable" yui added on.
"i'm not mentally unstable!!" neito tore his gaze from y/n, finally acknowledging the students sitting at the lunch table. "welcome back monoma, have fun?" itsuka turned her head towards him.
"yes actually, i now have y/n-chan's number. look at our relationship and be jealous" he smirked, a cocky expression on his face.
"you mean you only just got her number" yui gave him a unimpressed look but was still slightly happy neito had found a relationship despite being the way he us.
"we met l/n-chan on friday and got her number then as well" setsuna called out, showing him her lit phone screen. y/n's lastname clearly being shown there followed by a star. neito only stared at the two girls before pouting.
"hey bro where you going?" tetsutetsu asked, watching neito stand up. "to commit some hate crimes on class 1a students probably" itsuka replied for him.
"if being cool was a illegal, monoma-kun would be a criminal. not because he's cool" setsuna started "but for the multiple cases of hate crimes"
"i'm cool because y/n-chan said so!!"
