it's beautiful when a woman falls in love,
but it's breathtaking when a man does
when he falls, he falls hard
taking all of his passion and love
his flaws and his perfections,
his heart only beats because of her
he only lives because of her
his world only spins because of her.

Pancakes and bacon along with orange juice is the best breakfast ever created, my mother was always perfection in the kitchen her hands made of magic.

"So, how's Jack?" She asks shoveling pancakes into her mouth

"Amazing." I say

"Oh boy," She smiles "You've got it hard don't you?"

I grin nodding slowly, my heart warms at the thought of him.

"One foot is already off the edge, isn't it?" She asks

"And maybe a arm to." I admit

"Slowly, Winter." She says "Not to fast."

"Stay in the speed limit." I nod

"Exactly," She finishes her plate

I soon finish my food after and her and I wash dishes together, she rinses and I dry.

"He's a nice boy Win," She says after awhile of silence "Don't let him go."

"I don't plan on it." I say

Last night after Jack and I got to my house we had to release our hands from the addicting touch and I knew I was slipping of the edge.

My mother left for work, it's Saturday she works on Saturdays and takes Sunday and Monday off.

Jack ran through my mind blinding me with images of him and I, a warm feeling spreads throughout my body even the coldest parts of me warming me all over And this feeling is addicting, breathtaking, beautiful.

A knock at the door brought me out of my thoughts, I walked towards the door my hand clutches the cold knob pulling it open.

"Jack," A smile comes upon my lips

"Winter," He grins back

"Come in" I say opening the wider.

I follow Jack towards the living room, I follow his gaze towards the piano.

"Do you play?" Jack asks taking a glance at me

"No, my mother does" I say "I never could learn how to."

"Mhm," He hums "I see"

I smile and drop myself onto the brown leather couch, Fairly Odd Parents was playing on the television.

"Fairly Odd Parents," Jack chuckles "Really Winter?"

"I love Fairly Odd Parents," I grin "So shush."

"Go fish," My mother says

"You've said that ten times already," Jack says

"I don't have it," She laughs

Jack shakes his head and turns toward me.

"Do you have a three of diamonds?" He asks

"Yes," I mumble sliding the card toward him

Jack grins like a child at a candy store, I grin along with him.

"Mom," I say "Do you have a four of hearts?" I ask

"Yeah," She says "But you ain't gonna have it." She says while doing the Z-snap
