It was about 5:30 am in the morning, and Jennie was staring at the list she had made. Remnants of sleep clung to her eyelashes, and she wanted to go back and drown in the comfort of her pillows and blankets. However, she knew it was morning when she thought the clearest, and thus she woke up a little earlier to help her decision-making.

She took a gulp of the steaming coffee she had prepared for herself. She was at the kitchen table since she didn't want to disturb anyone by switching the lights on at the living room.

It had been two days since his offer, since she wanted her emotions to calm down first. She also gave herself only five days to make her decision, and thus she decided to pen her thoughts down.

She stared at the list again.

She stared at the list again

Jennie cringed, rereading what she had written and all the doodled hearts. The way she took notes or wrote down something was always very expressive. The fact it was 5.30 a.m. in the morning wasn't helping either, and she just wrote down whatever came to mind.

It did help clear her mind though.

She took another long sip of her coffee.

The pros were outweighing the cons in terms of numbers, but the way she underlined Jimin's name three times in the cons section showed its magnitude.

A few moments, or maybe minutes, passed by, as Jennie contemplated. Only the tick-tock of the grandfather hall in the living room could be heard thoughout the house.

She brought her mug of coffee to her lips, drinking the remainder of it in one go. The hot liquid burned her throat.

She got up with the list in her hand, and tore it to little pieces before throwing it away. The last thing she needed was someone to read that cringy list of hers.

Jennie had made her decision.
