You stood up straight with both feet on the ground, you placed a hand behind your head nervously, "I guess that's one way to put it as, hehe."

"But you did get confidence, just this morning you were arguing with Jean."

"Well, I wouldn't say arguing, just joking around. Y'know," you waved your hands to defend yourself despite not really being attacked.

Eren then joined into the conversation, "if you don't mind me asking, (Y/n). Where exactly did you go after Shinganshina fell? We thought you ...."

"Well, I spent the first year living in an underground city with a group of thugs. After that we were all arrested, they were forced to join the scouts while I was training under .... Shadis."

It was actually under Big bro, but eh. Close enough.

Eren's green eyes brightened with amazement, "Woah! Seriously! So you know what we are doing?"

"In a way, yeah. I don't have much advice on anything though, so sorry."

"Wait, does this mean you have a head start?" questioned the blond next to you.

You shook your head, "not really. I only did hand to hand combat and learned a few small things. Besides that, I was mainly cleaning."

Well, Farlan and Isabel did let you play around with the ODM when Levi wasn't looking around. But it was mainly to practice balance or use it as a swing.

Eren didn't seem to lose his amazement, "what do you think we are doing today?" the boy jumped and had his face right in front of yours. His green eyes are still sparkling with joy.

Embarrassment filled your system at the male being a fanboy for no reason, "today we are going to use the ODM, or at least figure out those who can balance on them," you then remember how Eren couldn't balance in the episode, "that way those who aren't good enough will be kicked out."

The boy stepped away and crossed his arms, "luckily, I'm gonna be good at it right off the bat!" he said confidently.

"Yeah, sure you will buddy."

As expected Eren failed miserably at the balance thingy, you got on shortly after he did. You stepped up and started getting ready to be lifted. It shouldn't be hard, it's just like how you did it before.

The machinery started lifting your form off the ground. You were right, it wasn't difficult. You showed no discomfort and simply hung on there with ease.

"You're so good at this!" Armin complemented with Eren nodding violently at his friend's words. His head was still red from hitting himself, there was some steam coming off.

Can't believe no one noticed.

A freckled boy then chirped, "you're so talented (Y/n)!" his smile seemed really unsure. He must actually believe that you were mad at him.

He's too pure!

A sudden urge of confidence filled your body at the compliments you were receiving, "Oh! Look at this!" Throwing your hands in the air you leaned backward. You did something similar to a backflip, except you don't actually have the talent to do it with your legs on the ground. Nonetheless spinning backward is fun, "this is actually kind of fun!" you chirped before spinning five times in a row.

Feeling the wire tightened you decided to flip forward was the best choice.

"CADET! STOP SCREWING AROUND!" shouted Shadis as he was right behind you leading to you losing focus.

A yelp left your lips before slipping forward and hitting your head against the ground.

Many of your fellow peers panicked when noticing the fact that you didn't cry in pain or complain. Shadis sighed as he looked at your unconscious form, "lower her down!" The bald man looked around for trainees who had just finished their test to take your body to the infirmary. That's when he saw a muscular blond along with a tall sweaty boy.
