I may be quiet
but I have a lot of things going on in my head.
I may be nervous
but I know that my friends will always back me up.
I may act weird
but that's because I'm nervous.
I may try to imagine you all as potatoes
but it doesn't work because I can still see your bodies.
My friends are loud,
bright people
While I feel a little dull.
It may seem like I'm not trying
but all I want in life is to be a hero.
So do my friends.
A girl with a bubbly personality
and a million questions.
And
A boy with a not so extraordinary quirk
that worked hard to be extraordinary and keep a smile on his face
no matter the circumstance.
And here I am
A simple boy
With a food quirk
Who can't even look people in the eye when talking to them.
But it doesn't matter
because I know that my friends
stand besides me
and that they believe in me.
And you know what?
That is all I need.
Not a flashy quirk
Or a smile always on my face,
But people that believe in me
And trust me to be the hero
That I have always wanted to be.
