My life is a never ending fight
Every time I defeat a foe, another one pops up
The first came in levels,
Many died because I couldn't save them.
Others died protecting me
I did my best to save everyone
But, the ones that I lost still haunt me to this day.
The second foe came right after the first.
This one came in the form of wings that couldn't take me where I wanted to go.
The one I loved was taken and held in a cage.
This foe came with a line
A line that I desperately wanted to cross, but didnt, for the sake of my humanity.
The third foe came in the form of lost memories
This foe blurred the line between real and illusion
I couldn't fault them for their crime, for they were only trying to bring a loved one back to reality.
But in doing so, they crossed the line
The fourth foe came in the form of a new world that was ruled by evil disguised as good
In this world
I made a friend
He was courageous and kind hearted.
But, his time came to an end
When he risked his life with the heart of a hero,
Only to be chopped down.
He continued without me, walking the path with his love.
This foe came with the loss of two to save the life of two.
I've lived, loved, and lost.
