"Alaric please!" Samuel pleaded as he sat in the office of Alaric at the Salvatore School.

"No! I want my girls nowhere near that psycho." Alaric spoke, anger in his voice.

"Ric! Would we ever purposefully put your daughters in danger?" Abby asked rhetorically, looking at Alaric with a pointed look.

Alaric sighed, he knew that Abby was right as usual.

"Why do you even need them?" Alaric sighed, still not fully on board.

"We need the whole coven for this spell. And in case you weren't aware they are members of the coven by birth, and they are two of the last living members of the coven. We need them. Plus they're eighteen now; you can't legally stop them from leaving with us if they want to." Abby explained and sassed at the end.

"Dad?" Josie's voice could be heard from outside the office, as she knocked.

"What's up, sweetheart?" Alaric asked as he opened the door so she couldn't see Abby and Sam. Even though she and Lizzie were adults, he still treated them as if they were still children and kept things from them.

"Dad, there's someone in the office, isn't there?" Josie asked knowingly and almost disappointingly, as she felt her father didn't trust her in Lizzie.

Alaric sighed, he knew that she would figure out someone was there.
