'What has got you all smiley this morning,' Michael, Daniels trainer, askes him when they are out on their morning run. Michael arrived this morning, so they could start preparing for the upcoming races. Daniel hadn't told him about Isa yet, he wanted to keep her to himself for a little while, but know he knew he had to tell him. ' I.. I.. I have a girlfriend,' Daniel says almost a whisper. Michael stops, unsure he heard it right. Daniel turns around to look at Michael, 'What, is it that unbelievable that I could have a girlfriend?'. Michael takes a sprint to catch up with Daniel, 'No, it's just that you haven't talked about a girl in a while so I'm just a bit surprised, that's all. What is her name, where is she from, what does she look like, when am I going to meet her?' Michael fires the questions in Daniels direction. 'Her name is Isa, she is 28, she's from here, Austin to be exact. I met her through my cousin, they are best friends and I want you to meet her tonight. I was thinking about going out for dinner, the three of us, so you can get to know each other as she is coming to the COTA the entire weekend. So I was thinking it would be nice for her to have at least one familiar face around the paddock'. The men finish their run, walking into the house, and grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge. They go out back and sit on the back porch enjoying the morning air. Daniels aunt (and Luna's mom) walks out, 'Do you guys want something to eat?'. Daniel smiles at the women who resembles his own mom, ' Thanks Cindy but Michael brought my food with him, I'm back on a strict diet'. 'Your loss babe, it is barbeque Tuesday tonight!', Cindy says as she walks back into the kitchen. 'So tell me more about you girl,' Michael wants to know more about the girl who got Daniel al smiley since he got here.

Isa is nervous, she twirls in front of the mirror. Her white, skin tight dress, hugging her curves in all the right places. She want to make a good first impression on the man who is a big part of Daniels life. She feels like she needs his approval if they will last for the long run. Her hair is in big waves, light make up on her face as it is too warm to wear a lot. Blush heels on her feet and a small clutch around her wrist. Luna is sitting on the bed flipping through a magazine, 'you don't mind that I spend so much time with Dan right?,' Isa askes her friend. ' Of course not, you are in a new exiting relation, you need to spend time with him. Also he will be traveling a lot in the near future so you will need to spend all the time together you can,' Isa is relieved Luna understands the situation. 'You know I was thinking that we really will be family when you marry Dan,' Isa lets out a small giggle. 'We have been dating for a week Luna, it is a bit early to be thinking about marriage. Besides, I don't even know if Dan wants to marry me, if we last that long.' Isa says putting the last bit of highlighter on her cheekbones. 'Oh I know Dan wants to get married, and the way he looks at you, it is sickening and adorable at the same time. I was talking with my mom and we both haven't seen Dan this happy in a relationship, even if the relationship is just a week old'. It was a small relief for Isa that a part of Daniels family liked her, even if she knew them for some time, it made her think about his parents, would they like her? Would they think she was good enough for their son. But thinking about Daniels parents also made her sad, because Daniel would never have that experience with Isa's parents, her dad was in jail and her mom was gone, technically Daniel already met her mom at the cemetery. It also made Isa thinking about what Luna said, marriage. Even if she would get married to Daniel, or any other man, her parents wouldn't be there. There would be no one to walk her down the aisle, there would not be any family member for Isa to support her, to watch her marry the man of her dreams, and that made Isa really sad. Luna caught on to Isa's mood change, 'You're right, it is still a bit early to talk about that stuff, but I know for sure that it will happen, and it will be the most beautiful wedding ever. I just know it,' Isa smiles at Luna, Isa really hoped Luna was right. A knock on the door made Luna a bit giddy, 'you date awaits,' Luna says, jumping from the bed to open the front door of the guesthouse. 'You know it is not a date, it is just dinner so I can meet his trainer,' Luna ignores Isa's comment and walks to open the door. 'Iz, there are two handsome men waiting for you at the door, I will see you later babe!' Luna yells and walks herself to her house. Isa takes a deep breath and checks herself in the mirror one last time to make sure everything looks good. She walks to the front door, Daniel standing there in black jeans with a baby blue button up, the sleeves rolled up, and let me tell you he looks really hot. Behind Daniel stands a man, athletic build, also wearing black jeans but he wears a red polo on top. Isa greets Daniel, she gives him a kiss on his cheek, not wanting to make it awkward for Michael, 'Hi, I'm Luna, it is so nice to meet you. Dan has not told me one thing about you other than the fact that you kill him almost every training,' Michael smiles at the petite women standing In front of him. Instead of giving her a hand Michael steps forward to give Isa a small hug and a kiss on the cheek. 'Well Isa it is a pleasure to meet you, unlike you I have heard all about you, I almost feel like we have met before,' Michael laughs. Daniel contently looks at the two of them, happy to see his new girlfriend and his trainer getting along already. As the three walk to the car at the front of the property, Daniel and Isa hold hands, Michael walking next to Isa. The two of them chat away as if they have known each other for years, Daniel smiles, he is almost relieved Michael is gay or he would be jealous of the two of you( a/n I'm almost sure Michael is not gay but for the sake of the story). When the three reach the car, Daniel opens the passenger side for Isa and helps her in the truck, Michael sitting in the back and Daniel walks around the car to take a seat behind the wheel. Daniel puts on his seatbelt and takes a quick glance at Isa, 'You look really beautifull babe,' Isa blushes at the comment, putting her hand on his as he puts his hand on her thigh while starting the car. Daniel takes a quick look in the mirror to see a happy Michael giving him a thumbs up. This will be a good night.
