clay was regretting his decisions now. all of them, not just this one.

after the whole 'almost kiss' happened, riley threw up in the bathroom. five minutes later she had passed out on the couch, patches cuddles into her side.

and clay, well, he was practically having a panic attack in the kitchen.

he leaned against the fridge and sank down, dropping his head into his hands and messing with his hair. he really hoped that things would the awkward after this. maybe she'd wake up and just forget anything had happened. hopefully that would be the case, clay couldn't deal with the awkward tension between them any longer.

and that shit he said about him wanting her to remember their first kiss... what the fuck was that about?

this is why clay never got drunk. also because he had been underage until today, but also because of this.
