Chapter 7

Matt's P.O.V
When I saw those cuts on her are my heart sank I couldn't believe a beautiful and happy girl could do this to herself.
Why?
I couldn't stop thinking about her beautiful face.
"Matthew!! 6+14*X=100 solve for X"
"Uh....4." I said.
"Incorrect." Mrs. Beatrice shouted slapping her stick on the desk making everyone jump.
The bell rang and we all hurried out.
I went and grabbed my books.
"Hey Matt. Wanna get Taco Bell. Emma's gonna be there." Nash said.
"I thought she had a doctors appointment?" I asked.
"Yeah she got back 15 minutes ago."
"Yeah definitely." I said.
We hopped in Jack G's car and drove to Taco Bell.
I walked in and saw Emma sitting at a table staring out the window.
"Hey." I put my arms around her waist.
"Holy Fuhh ( Matthew espinosa vine reference.) Matt you scared the living hell out of me." She said.
"Good does that mean you'll stop hurting yourself."
"Shut up." She said.
The rest of the boys came and sat down at the table.
"So....what did the doctors say?" Shawn asked.
"Shawn!!!" They all screamed.
"What!" He screamed.
"Boys it's fine. I have depression and anxiety."
"Oh my god. I'm so sorry." Jack G said rubbing my shoulder.
"No need to be sorry it happens." She said.
"I'll go order." She said.
"No I got it." Jack J said.
"Well at least use this please." She handed him a gift card.
"No Emma I got it." He said.
"No please take it." She insisted.
"Fine." He said.
Jack J went and ordered. I sat and talked with the boys.
"You shoulda seen Matt this afternoon he was so heartbroken and unfocused."
"Was not!" I started to blush.
"Matthew! 6+14*X=100 solve for X." Nash imitated Mrs. Beatrice.
"Uhh.... 4." Jack G imitated me.
"Incorrect." Nash said.
"Come on Matt is was 5." She said.
Jack J came back with the Tacos.
I wolfed mine down. Emma ate hers slowly. I stared at her beautiful face.
"Matt do I have something on my face."
She looked up at me.
"Yeah you have a little sour cream on your cheek." I grabbed a napkin and wiped it off.
"Perfect."
"Aww... you guys are so cute together." Nash said.
Alex walked in.
Emma's P.O.V
I really didn't want to tell them about what happened at the doctors today but I did anyways. I enjoyed my Taco Bell. I hated it when Matt looked at me its made me so self conscious. I finally decided to ask him why he was staring at me.
He said I had some sour cream on my face so he took a napkin and wiped it off. Alex came up behind me and scared the living shit out of me.
"Alex." I said scared.
"Emmy." He said.
"Don't call me that, and don't sneak up on me like that." I said.
"What it was funny." He said.
"Not for me it wasn't." I said.
"Aww. Is Emma getting all sensitive." He said.
"Shut up." I got up and left.
"Emm. Wait." Matt said.
I didn't look back.
I went outside to cool off. When I came back I saw Alex and Matt fighting and the boys trying to break them up.
"Matt." I yelled.
I ran and got in the middle of them both.
"Get out of the way little girl your worthless and stupid." Alex yelled and pushed me out of the way.
"Hey don't touch her and don't ever talk to her like that." Matt said.
"Oh what you gonna do about it." Alex said.
"I'm gonna do this." I yelled. As my fist made contact with his face. He fell to the floor.
"Wow." The boys said.
"I have never seen a girl punch like that." Matt said.
"Matt your bleeding." I said.
"It's fine." He said.
We all left and went back to my place. "I'll go get the first aid kit." I said.
I ran upstairs and searched the bathroom for the kit I finally found it under the sink.
I rushed downstairs with the first aid kit. He started to lose consciousness. "Matt!" I screamed.
"Nash call an ambulance."
Nash ran and got the phone.
"Matt come on don't do this." I screamed.
The ambulance came in and put him on the stretcher. They hooked him up to the monitor it was beeping like crazy.
"What happened?" the paramedic asked.
"He got into a fight and the guy kicked him in the stomach and punched him in the chest a few times."
"Have you notified the parents." They asked.
"Not yet." I said.
"What is his name?" The one asked.
"Matthew Espinosa." I replied.
"Are you his girlfriend?" The one asked.
"Yeah." I said.
"Okay you can take a ride in the ambulance with us." They said.
"Okay. What are your names?" I asked.
"I'm Mills and this is Brett." ( Chicago Fire paramedics.) "What is your name?" Mills asked.
"My name is Emma Dallas."
They lifted him up and put him in the ambulance. I grabbed his phone and dialled his mom this was gonna be awkward since I had never met his mom.
"Hello." She said.
"Hi Mrs. Espinosa my name is Emma Dallas I'm Cameron's sister." I said.
"Your the girl he has never shuts up about." She said.
"Matthew's been in a fight." I said.
"Is he okay?" She asked.
"Not really we are in a ambulance right now. Could you meet us at Los Angeles general hospital." I said.
"Definitely all be there in a minute." She said.
"Bye." I said.
"Bye."
We finally got to the hospital.
His parents were waiting at the emergency room I walked with the paramedics till I wasn't allowed to. I went and took a seat.
His mom and dad, sister and 2 brothers all day in a row.
"So your Matts girlfriend? Kristen his sister asked surprised.
"Yeah." I said.
"Where are my manners I'm Kristen and this is Dylan and Ryan." She said.
"He never stops talking about you." Dylan said.
"Really?" I said.
"Yeah, he is always telling us how much he likes you, and how beautiful you are." Mr. Espinosa said.
"Actually your more beautiful then he described." Ryan added.
"Thanks." I said.
The doctor came out.
"No internal bleeding or anything bad just a fractured wrist. You can now go in and see him. Family members only." His family went in.
"Are you Emma Dallas." She asked.
"Yeah." I said.
"He wanted me to tell you that he loves you so much." She smiled.
"Thanks. Could you tell him that I love him more." His family came out.
"Why don't you tell him your self." She said.
She showed me his room I knocked.
"Come in." He said.
Hearing his voice made me smile.
I walked in and ran and have him a huge hug and a hugs kiss on the cheek.
He patted the spot beside him I sat and brought my legs up.
"Matthew Lee you had me so worried." "Emma Sierra I would never leave you."
He leaned in and put his hands on my cheeks and kissed my lips our lips moved in sync. Ryan came in and caught us making out.
"Sorry to bother you guys. The doctors told us that you are being released in 30 minutes and mom wants to know if Emma wanted to stay for dinner."
"If it's no problem I don't wanna impose." I said.
"No, it's no problem." He said.
"Okay just let me call Cameron"
I dialled his number.
"Hello?" He said.
"Hey cam it's me. Can I go over to Matt's for dinner."
"Yeah." He said.
"Okay. Bye love you." I said.
