CHAPTER 2.
"Good morning Kuboyasu," you said to the purple haired boy as you saw him enter school. It was quite early in the morning, so you two were one of the firsts to arrive.
"Good morning L/n," he greeted back, a hint of red appearing on his cheeks.
'Why is his cheeks tinted pink ? Does he have a fever or something ?' You thought to yourself as you quickly closed the gap between you two, standing on you tippy toes as you touched his forehead with the back of your hand, which only seemed to worsened his condition as his face now a shade of flaming red.
"W-What are you doing L/n?" he stuttered out.
'Why has he started stuttering suddenly?' you thought to yourself in confusion.
"Hmm...you don't seem to have a fever, but then why is your face so red and now you have also started stuttering?" you mumbled thoughtfully. "Are you perhaps embarrassed by something?"
"No-no, it's nothing like that," he stuttered out painfully which caused a frown to appear on your face because of his sudden change in his behavior, after all you always thought that he was a confident guy, but perhaps you were wrong this time.
After that everything went silent, awkwardness slowly engulfing the air around you two. You have never been one to be good in small talks and you tried your hardest to always avoid awkward situations even though you were almost as popular as Teruhashi.
"No particular reason, I just woke up early and I had nothing better to do," he replied sheepishly as he took his seat behind yours. "But why are you so early?"
"Student council duties," you casually shrugged.
After that you guys continued to talk about various things, even though you two had almost had nothing in common. In the course of that you two found yourselves to be slowly warming up to each other, a new found feeling growing inside both of you.
