The twin Princesses arrived at the city of Omashu in their palanquins with Ty-lee trailing on the ground next to them. The soldiers carried them up the steps toward their other friend, Mai.
Soza was the first to step off the throne and walk over to Mai followed by Azula.
"Please tell me you're here to kill me," Mai said as she bowed then lifted her lips up into a smirk.

Soza cracked a smile. Even after all these years her best friend Mai hadn't changed in the slightest.
"It's great to see you Mai," Soza and Azula stated in unison as Mai and Soza linked hands. Ty-lee jumped on Mai after Soza let go.
"I thought you ran off and joined the circus. You said it was your calling," Mai said hugging Ty-lee back.
"Well...Soza called a little louder," Ty-lee replied.
"We have a mission," Azula begin. "And we need you both"
"Count me in. Anything to get me out of this place," Mai agreed instantly as she glanced back-ward in disgust at the tan buildings.
