~Samanthas POV~

H: you're not going to like this

P: what?...

You know what? Let me just lean back and watch his disaster go down.

F: we... well mainly Hailey, wants to paint your nails

P: HELL NO

F: why not

P: I don't want my nails painted!

H: but it would be so much fun

P: not for me

H: please Payton! Just this once

He sighed

P: ...fine

Wait the fights already over? That's it?... damn

H: what color

P: ...black? I don't know

F: Samantha do you have black nail polish?

S: yeah I'll go get it

I got up from the ground and ran upstairs into my bathroom. After a few minutes, I finally found it.

S: HAILEY, DO YOU WANT A NAIL FILE TOO

H: YES PLEASE

S: OK

P: WAIT WHAT? NO ONE TOLD ME ABOUT FILING

I laughed as I grabbed everything that they needed and went back down stairs. Right now Payton is sitting in one of the chairs with Hailey standing in front of him

S: here, you're in control now

I handed all the stuff to Hailey

H: thank you! Give me your hand Payton.

He hesitantly did. Once I saw her grab the nail file, I turned around and met up with Faith in the kitchen. That's not going to end well.

P: OW!

F: hey Samantha

S: hey

I grabbed a class of water before I sat down next to her on the island table, just taking random sips

F: so what's going on

S: nothing much

F: hm what about you and Payton

P: THAT HURTS

S: what about us

F: you guys haven't said one thing directed towards each other the whole night. What's going on

S: we're just not speaking in the moment. No big deal.

P: THATS NOT MY NAIL THATS MY ACTUAL FINGER

F: why can't you guys just be friends again?

S: it's not that easy

P: HAILEY

H: OH MY GOD SHUT UP

F: why not? You guys clearly still care about each other

S: I wouldn't say clearly

I took another sip of my water

F: what? You don't think he cares about you?

S: no not really.

P: STOP IT

F: well I think otherwise. That boy would do anything for you

S: ...can we talk about something else please?
