The she-wolf lives with five sons, all of which managed to learn what a lock is. This was her secret weapon against them.

"Sage? Sweetheart, how about we get you dried up and in bed." Taking a peek behind the shower curtain was the mother surprised to see her sulking.

The mother instantly turned the water off and leaned down further, the Alpha's discarded shirt just by her feet.

"No. Away." Go away. That's is what she meant, but couldn't connect the given phrase.

"Can't do that little flower. I need to make sure that cut is going to heal okay for tomorrow. Leo is making some tea and then Caleb is going to stay with you tonight." Sage tried to shake her head and deny the help and support, but surely it couldn't hurt.

"Caleb?"

"Would you let him clean this?" The she-wolf hadn't responded, but hadn't denied it either. So after drying and heading to the former guest room to find some pajamas.

With Sage sporting semi-wet hair, Caleb met her in her room with a soft smile and a cup of her favorite tea. This is what she needed.

There was already a first aid kit in the room, as Sage was hazardous in getting some sort of cut or bruise throughout the normal sparring between her brothers.

She sat in silence in the center of her bed, kindly sipping her tea as Caleb attempted to disinfect the majority of her scrapes. For all that she accomplished tonight, she didn't look too bad.

It was her heart that was causing her the most pain at the moment.

"Sage I'm sure Luke is—"

"No. No talk." He was lucky enough to be free from her anger that he simply plopped his mouth shut and continued to bind her arm.

And course then the yelling had occurred, causing her to shiver with anxiety.

"Nothing that happened tonight is your fault, you acted. That is what everyone wanted from you, everyone just needs to get used to having a Luna, and much more importantly an Alpha-female beside their Alpha-male." Her wolf purred at being called the correct title, but Sage was still as confused as ever.

Something that Caleb caught.

"Sage, hun. The Alpha's word is law, we have to listen to his orders. But the fact that you didn't, the fact that you powered through against what he asked means you don't see him at the same level as the rest of us. Because you are on the same level as him."

"Alpha-Female." She tested on her lips, and a rumble escaped her throat soon after.

"Now we know. Now your mate knows as well." A frown rallied at the mention of Remus, she didn't want to speak of that, but there was no getting out of it either.

"Remus angry."

"His wolf is, yeah...Before you came here he was the only Alpha. The pack is going to face changes with two Alphas as their leaders." This is what she needed to hear, that the dominance steamed from the likes of his inner beast.

But was he truly going to fight over a rogue attack? Would he really punish her?

"Alpha no hurt?"

"The Alpha's fine, he was just worried about his mate. Males will do crazy things for them. I know I will." His promise was indeed needed, as it gave another perspective on how male wolves respond to their mates.

Lacking the titles would Remus still be a mess of worry, it was just the title that magnified it.

"Do you want me to stay?" She nodded to his offer before hiding underneath the cover, the air conditioner working wonders on her over-heating body.
