Thursday Thoughts!
The pandemic knocked on my friend's door last Sunday. Her name was Bernice. We became friends in our writing class two years ago. She told fascinating stories of how she and her family escaped from China when she was a child. Along with her tales of her family, she often infused her humor to make the class laugh. She was a delightful writer and I enjoyed listening to her speak with her accent.
Rest in peace, Bernice. Our writing group will miss you.
