I woke up and saw everyone standing around me as if I was a new born baby.
'Beta are you alright?' Ma asked, covering her mouth with her veil; about to cry.
I saw Ayesha too looking down at me and the blood in my veins turned cold.
I quickly touched my chest and back expecting to see blood on my hands.
There was none.
'Bring him some water, Ayesha.'
She quickly went away.
I looked at all of them.
'You had a bad dream beta, it'll be fine.' Ma sat next to me caressing my cheek.
We all went to Victoria Memorial that day. It's beautiful and elegant unless you know your cousin sister is a murderer.
'Let's take a picture of you both together.'
Ayesha kept her arm around my neck and my heart skipped a beat.
'Wassi. Smile!'
I smiled.
I checked before the flight home next day. There was an email from my new company. I was selected.
And a message from Ayesha.
'See you soon Wassi.'
