The first task wasn't easy for you. It was far from entertaining and you had to go through the exact same feeling twice. Worry.

You clenched your fist so hard, you left scars in your palms. Your heart was squeezed tight and you thought you couldn't feel it pump during the first and third time. First was Cedric and you stopped breathing when the dragon breathed fire at him. But he was okay. He was fantastic even after and you just wanted to throw that egg in his head for scaring you with it. It was different from your brother. He passed the first task flawlessly.

"Viktor!" you shouted after the first task. He turned around at the sound of his little sister calling for him. He always did. It made him smile that you were there, still needing him. He smiled widely and opened his arms, to which you gladly jumped. "You were amazing."

"You doubted me?" he let go, showing you his white teeth.

"Never." you shoved him a bit before another Durmstrang student walked behind Viktor.

"Vat about a pregrŭdka for me, Mish?" he opened his arms as well but you only laughed, standing where you did.

"Did you fight a dragon, Marko?"

"Vell, ne. But I vas his- hov do you say it? Moralna podkrepa." he wiggled his eyebrows and opened his arms again. "E?"

You rolled your eyes, crossing your arms and narrowing your eyes at him. "You and your charm." you walked to him and was accepted by his arms. They wrapped around and he kept you in his embrace for a while, rocking you left and right.

"Isn't dis najs." he put his head on top of yours and kept rocking you.

"You two are idiota."Viktor chuckled and tapped Marko on the back.

Who was Marko, exactly? He was Viktor's best friend. Since a young age, they have been close as two friends can be and they grew up into brothers. And though he used to be a boy you crushed for so many years, it simply didn't feel the same- because on the end. He was your brother as well.

When you found out Cedric asked Cho Chang to the Yule Ball, you accepted Marko's. Vikor was happy to hear the news because despite he was overprotective of you, he trusted Marko with you and he always wanted the two of you to become so much more than friends. But not you. You wanted more with another boy.

The opportunity came when the rehearsals for the Yule Ball were set. Gryffindors with Hufflepuffs and Slytherins with Ravenclaws. As soon as the two houses, Hufflepuff and Gryffindor entered both of your eyes found each other. He grinned and walked to you before anyone could have the chance.

"Hey, stranger." he ran to your side of the classroom and smiled sweetly.

"Hey, Champion." you returned him a smile.

"I didn't see you wearing my house colours and that heart name you promised." he teased you laughed.

"Really? Maybe you didn't see well."

"No. I think I saw pretty clearly."

"So there was a dragon in front of you but you decided to look at me?" you continued to tease and he laughed.

"Priorities." he winked, putting his hand against the wall behind you and backing you against it.

"Priorities?" you bit your lower lip and kept your eyes switching from his eyes to his lips.
