Stuff about the states!

Random stories that are too short to make an entire chapter on

Title is pretty self explanatory. Chapter full of short stories I think of that seem way too short to make a whole chapter for, but I ain't got nowhere else to dump them. By the way these chapters aren't at all in order since their random and just pop into my head. Alawaii could be canon in one, wouldn't even exist in another. Sorry I'm bad at explaining lol-

"Hey, why do you always get so flustered whenever we ship you and Texas together? You know it's all in good fun, right?" New York asked California resulting in his attention immediately going over to the other state instead of the book in his hands.

"Uh..."

California tried to search for a logical reason, but couldn't come up with anything. His face slowly started to turn red and he quickly turned his head back down towards his book, avoiding eye contact with New York.

"Oh my god, there's no way." Florida said as he suddenly entered the conversation, a huge smile on his face. He knew, and once New York heard that, he knew too.

"What happened now?"

Texas asked as he walked into the area, arms crossed. California immediately tensed up as he heard his voice.

Oh no.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

New York quickly ran into California's room, only to see the west coast state screaming into his pillow.

"What the hell's happening with you?"

California slowly let go of the pillow and threw it aside, before turning to New York.

"I'm doing my daily scream. Surprised you've never noticed it until today."

"One, that's a mood, two, you okay?"

Cali couldn't help but smile at his concern.

"I just flipped a coin and let it choose the color! Landed on red, so had to go red." Florida chuckled, but everyone at the table went dead silent after that.

"What? I said I didn't know which side to choose!"

Louisiana couldn't help but let out a laugh, slapping his hand over his mouth afterwards. DC simply looked at Florida with both a 'wtf' and 'what have you done' look on his face. The red states were still proud they got him on their side, and the blue states...

Ah, the blue states.

cue california chasing florida around while washington tries to hold him back

"I can't reach you! You're too tall!" Hawaii yelled as she had to turn her head up just to look at her boyfriend, Alaska. Hawaii was only 5'3 while Alaska was 6'4.

Alaska couldn't help but chuckle and after thinking for a bit, he picked the other up bridal style and held her in his arms. It caught Hawaii off guard so she shrieked a bit but once processing what happened, she began to laugh aswell.

Her laughter was interrupted when Alaska gave her a quick peck on the lips, making her face heat up. She covered it with her hands in embarrassment, while Alaska continued to laugh.

He really did love her.

(probably the first actual ship content I've written in this book lol)

"Hey there Hawaii, what's it like in that little island? I'm a thousand miles away, but girl tonight you look so pretty, yes you do..."

Alaska had just gotten off another FaceTime call with Hawaii and had gotten off his bed, looking around through his 'room' for something. He couldn't deny that he had feelings for her, but couldn't bring himself to admit it.

"No star can shine as bright as you...I swear it's true...-"

"You know you never actually hung up right?"

Alaska flinched and froze once he heard the all too familiar voice. Slowly turning back to the computer on his bed, he could see he truly hadn't left the call with a now blushing Hawaii like how he thought he did.

Doing the first thing that came to mind he bolted over towards his computer and hung up. 'Oh shit...' He thought to himself as he buried his face in his hands. He only looked up once he noticed another call coming in.

Of course, it had to be Hawaii.

"No no, I got a lot of reasons as to how I'M the better Dakota!" North Dakota yelled to the others in the meeting room, causing South Dakota to stand up and slam his hands on the table. "Which are probably all lies! I've got the real reasons to prove that I, ME, am the better Dakota!" South Dakota shot back.

"I swear, you two fight like twins!" California yelled.

"We are twins!"

ND and SD yelled at the same time, causing them to look at eachother before rolling their eyes.

"Are any of us really surprised at that?" Florida asked.

(there's another headcanon too, that North and South Dakota are twins-)
