I landed without any grace. The breath was knocked out of me painlessly.
I roll onto my back, my eyes clenched in pain. Yeah, my side'll be briused for a while...
I slowly force my eyes open. The sun blinds me for a present moment, then I'm knocked over by my insanity.
"What a strange place..." I look around the valley I was in, surrounded but bleach white flowers and neon green grass. "Nothing in the world could possibly be like this..."
I stand up, brushing off any evidence of my fall. "Where on earth...?"
"Earth? You speak of fiction." A voice interrupts my thoughts. "I don't quite recognize you... Who are you exactly?"
"Who am I?" I whip around. "Who are-" No. Damn. Way.
