Chapter 8: More than Mistakes

" You said nobody would come." spoke Y/N in an embarrassed tone as she washed her face. She and Aki recently arrived home after the tennis game they had at school

"I'm sorry." replied Aki as she took off her upper clothes. "But she said you look cute."

"That's not the point."

"If I were you, I'd be happy." Aki removed her undergarments and placed it on the hamper

Y/N furrowed her brows and turned around to face Aki

"There's no way I'd -

Y/N lightly gaped and Aki looked at her curiously. She hastily faced away from the naked girl

"I-If you were gonna take a bath, you should have said so!"

"Why?"

"What do you mean why? Of course that would surprise anyone." Y/N replied with a faint blush on her cheeks

Aki stared at Y/N's back

"Y/N."

"W-What?"

"Do you want to bathe with me?"

"What are you saying?" Y/N found the words absurd and Aki approached closer to her

"We used to take baths together all the time."

"That was back then."

Aki fiddled with Y/N's shirt.

"You don't want to?"

"It is not like I don't want to..." Y/N gazed to her side. "But Aki-nee, aren't you realizing something?"

"Realize what?"

Y/N fought the urge to face palm

"Geez, Aki-nee. We can't just take a bath together at this point. Don't you realize that our differences are slowly being shown?"

Y/N pressed her legs closer.

"Stupid, Aki-nee."

With a sigh, Y/N agreed to the request and Aki beamed at this.

"Great." Aki turned Y/N around so she can face her. "Let's get you out of this shirt-

"No, it's fine." Y/N removed Aki's hold and she faced away. "You can enter the baths first

Aki pouted but nodded at the words

"Okay. But I'm taking the bathtub this time. It's your fault for being so slow."

*(Splash!)*

Aki submerged into the water and she stared at Y/N who sat on the stool.

"We haven't bathed together for a while, have we?"

Y/N only nodded in response as she washed her body with soap

"It's gotten bigger, huh?"

Y/N furrowed her brows at Aki's words

"What?"

"Your breasts, I mean." said Aki with a giggle. "You're becoming a woman now, Y/N. I remember back then on how you whined about your breasts not being big as mine."

"Oh, Yeah.. I am."

Aki smiled faintly and she got out of the bathtub

"Let me wash your back, Y/N." Aki placed her hands on the girl's shoulders and she leaned on her.

"T-That's not necessary."

Aki ignored the words and she proceeded to scrub Y/N's back

"It didn't use to take a lot of time to wash your back." Aki mused. "And your proportions are getting defined now. You grew before I noticed."
