"Jealous, Fla?"

I asked amused "what did you just say?"

Serena "you heard me"

I shook my head "say it again"

Serena groaned annoyed "i need your help"

Me "with what?"

Serena "Sage. I have to get through her. "

I asked confused "then why are you asking me?"

Serena "she's a fan of yours. "

I nodded "ah, now i get it. "

Serena "so, are you going to help me or not?"

Me "i will not help you"

Serena "Fla, come on"

I asked confused "why-"

Serena "Mercy"

I shook my head "oh hell, no, no no no"

Nate looked at me amused and confused. 

Me "You can't use Mercy"

Serena "Well, i just did. now you have to come and help me"

I rolled my eyes "fine."

Serena "you're gonna help me drop her off at school. see you. bye"

then she hung up. 

Nate looked at me amused. 

Me "what?"

Nate "when are you going to tell her we're gonna get married?"

Me "when she starts acting like my sister again"

Nate nodded, shrugging. 

I stood up and gave him a kiss  "i gotta go"

Nate nodded "I love you"

Me "i love you, handsome. Bye"

On the streets. 

Serena "when i was in high school, my mom was remarried. A lot. "

Sage "that must have been so hard for you"

I walked over to them, smiling "well, hey, girls"

Sage smiled at me "Flavia, hi"

Serena looked at her kinda offended because Sage was more interested in me than her. 

Sage "what are you doing here?"

Me "Well, i just happen to stop by. Where you guys talking about my mother and her failed marriages?"

Sage nodded "yeah"

Me "it is actually sad that we got used to it"

Serena "We learned the hard way that if you act out, you're only hurting yourself. so please try to care about college and stay involved in your extracurriculars"

Sage nodded, fake smiling "you're right, Serena. And they say you can't be pretty and smart"

Serena "and try to go easy on your dad, please"

Sage nodded. 

Serena "he's a good man. That's why i fell in love with him"

Sage "my ears are bleeding. But it's cool to talk to someone my own age who gets it"
