It was one wonderful day when Isabel came running from her bedroom and jumped in an embrace onto her mother who was in the living room,
"Mom have made it"Isa shouted with joy.
Ruth was shocked upon seeing her daughter this excited and happy but before she could say a word, they heard a voice from the door entrance,"what has my princess achieved that has made her this happy?" It was Eric,her husband and Isa's Dad who asked. Immediately Isa hugged her Dad and told him she has passed her exams with flying colors and got very high marks as she showed her parents the results on her phone.
Both parents embraced their daughter. Am proud of you, Eric told his daughter, Yes you have really made us proud and this calls for a celebration, Ruth added.
Okay I will go and get dressed,Isa said and went
Upstairs to her bedroom.
Ruth and Eric watched their daughter go upstairs with
wide smiles on their faces
Eric turned and saw his
wife proudly admiring her
daughter.
"Hello..." are you going to stand here smiling to yourself until she comes down or you are going to get yourself ready? he teased her
She has grown so fast and each day brings more happiness to us since she was born, she said as tears of joy ran down her check.
And each day she looks just as beautiful as her mother. He said and pressed a kiss on her forehead.
Both went up to their bedroom and came down ready after sometime.
Princess what is taking you so long? Eric shouted
Am coming Dad, she replied
They sat down to wait for her.
After 5 minutes, she came down looking beautiful and prepared in a pink dress
which was just after her
knees with gold heels and
hair tied nicely with beautiful make up on
Face.
Am ready to go, she said as she came downstairs
Just as I expected Beautiful,
Ruth complimented her
daughter.
Just like a mother, Eric added and lead them to the
Car.
