Ruby ran into the gym and onto the battle field, I stood off to the sidelines to watch.
"So your the girl the champion decided to travel along with?" Flannery explained
"Dose it make a difference?" Ruby asked
"No not really. Just a little surprised I'm battling you today" Flannery said
"Numel let's go!" Flannery called
"Emerald Shine Bright!" Ruby yelled
"Now numel use flame burst!" Flannery said
"Light screen!" Ruby called
A purple screen formed intront of the green Espeon stopping the flame from reaching Emerald.
"Now use physic beam!" Ruby called. Emerald jumped up and a purple beam came out in front of him.
"Quick Ember let's go!" Flannery said.
When the two attacks collided a huge explosion went off.
"Flame burst" A large wave a fire shot towards Emerald, lucky for him though the light screen was still active. Blocking each and every attack Flannerys pokèmon sent at Emerald.........Until.
"NOW USE EMBER!" Flannery called her Camerupt doing as she asked.
"EMERALD NO!" Ruby yelled to her Espeon who was unable to respond because he had fainted.
"Good job Emerald return" Ruby said
"The only other advantage she has is latios. Is she willing to show off the legendary pokemon not even three days after she caught him?" I thought
"I'd hate to do this.....but it's the only way" Ruby said
"And what's that?" Flannery asked
"Latios let's go!!!" Ruby called throwing the ultra ball.
Flannerys mouth dropped to the floor, She knew this battle was gonna end in less the 0.2 seconds.
Which it did.
"Latios surf let's go!" Ruby called
Latios spun around in the air and water washed over the Camerupt Defeating it...
"Well I didn't expect that" Flannery said
"But you did defeat the Lavabridge gym" Flannery said and handed the gym Bage over to Ruby.
"Thanks for the good battle" Flannery said
"Same here......hope to battle you again soon" Ruby explained....
"I didn't expect her to pull out latios so quickly. Especially after she just recently caught the pokèmon" I thought as I excited the gym following Ruby.....
