Ahhh, the symbolism here. The angst. The art style. All of it is so damn PERFECT!!!
I love what Sensitive_Cucumber did here, with the Hourglass vs. Ari depiction. It's such a good representation of what's going on with our poor girl in the story, and the addition of the quotes only adds to this seriously accurate angst.
My favorite thing is that even though they are the same person, Sensitive_Cucumber managed to draw them as separate people (like Keigo vs. Hawks), and it makes Hourglass (the product of the hero commission) appear as the bad guy. WELL DONE!!
Love that Hourglass is locking Ari away (I mean, I'm sobbing over it, but I love how it was done). The addition of that familiar blindfold, with the "HC" for hero commission on Hourglass' shirt.
Sensitive_Cucumber you have seriously outdone yourself with this picture! It's so beautifully drawn, and it's such a great representation of where we're at in the story. It will hit very close to home for what I have planned next chapter.
