(Jesse POV)
*Its Saturday night*

I pull out my phone and send my dad a text
"I have nothing to do and it's Saturday night. Any ideas?"
"Go to the movies," He replies in an instant
"Ehhh don't know about it but well see.. if I went would you wanna go?"
"Maybe, it just depends. If I go can Lauren come?"
"Lauren?" I reply
"Oh yeah you don't know about her. It's my gf."
"Okay, wow I guess so,"
"Sweet. Meet you there, Love you"
"Bye,"
And that was the conversation. Looks like I have plans to go to the movies tonight. I'm thinking about taking Katie but I don't know how well she'd like it. I thought to hell with it, pulled out my phone and texted her.
"Hey Katie got plans for tonight?"
One minute passed, then two, then 5, but finally after 10 minutes she texted back.
"Um...Yeah I have plans already. Sorry :("
"Okay love you," I replied
"Bye," she replied. That's weird she never just puts that.
I looked at the time 7:23, and decided that I should get dressed and head up there for the 8 o'clock movies with dad and Lauren. I went to my closet, picked out a falling in reverse t-shirt, a pair of white skinny jeans, and a pair of black and white converse. I threw that on, walked out the house, and walked to the theater since it was about 5 minutes away. When I got there I saw dad and Lauren standing in line for tickets to see some romance movie that I didn't have any interest in. I got in the back of the line, pulled out some money, and bought a ticket for the maze runner. When the three of us walked in, there was still 15 minutes before either of our shows started so I went to the arcade. So many games.. It was awesome!! I stayed in there until dad had to come and get me bc the movie was starting. I found where I was supposed to be going, walked in and sat in the middle row and watched the movie
*Skip to when the movie ends*
"That was an alright movie," one girl said
"They should make another one" a guy said
These comments kept coming along. After the movie ended I had to pee so I found the restrooms, and walked in.
I couldn't believe my eyes.... Katie was making out with some chick in the middle of the bathroom. They seemed to be pretty into it until I walked in and then they stopped.
"Jesse!! It's not what it looks like!" She sounded like she was gonna cry.
"It looks like you were fucking making out with that damn chick!"
She was silent..
"Jesse please don't I can ex-" she tried to say but I cut her off
"Don't fucking say a word. We're through!" I said then ran out the bathroom. Tears started flowing out of my eyes so I ran out of the building and found my dads car. I laid my head on the hood and cried. About three minutes later I felt a hand on my shoulder
"What happened kiddo? I don't think the movie was that bad." my dad asked
"It's nothing.. I'm just pissed right now," I raised my head up to look at him
"What happened?"
I told him what happened and he listened, never showed any sign of boredom or lack of interest.
"She doesn't deserve you then, I think your a wonderful girl that deserves way better. Come home with me and Lauren. You can sleep at my house,"
"Thanks dad." I gave him a hug. I know he hasn't been in my life at all but he's been the best. We get in the car, and head to his house. I didn't get a text from Katie saying she's sorry and all that so all i did was delete her from my phone. I didn't want any contact with her unless I had to. As soon as we got there, I went in and passed out on the couch.

(Katie POV)
*Earlier that night*

"Babe come on let's go to the movies!" Angela whined.
"I don't know..." I said
"Pleaseeeee"
I stayed silent.
She kept on begging and begging so I couldn't take anymore. I went into the bathroom, locked the door, and right before I was fixing to get into the shower Jesse texted.
"Hey Katie got plans for tonight?"
I couldn't text back bc my hands were wet, so I took a 6 minute shower, walked out in a shower and went into my room to put on some clothes. When I was dressed I went back Into the bathroom to see my phone was gone
"Angela!!!" I yell
"Yeah?" she said running in there with a phone in her pocket
"Where's my phone?" I ask
"I don't know" I could tell she was lying
"Show me your pockets"
She reached in and pulled out the things from in her pockets. A button,$30, and my phone
"Told you" I said
When I unlocked my phone I saw the texts she sent Jesse.
"Um...Yeah I have plans already. Sorry :("
"Okay love you," she replied
"Bye," oh shit she shouldn't have put that. I always put something after that..
I hit Angela on the shoulder and told her not to get into my phone.
"Why you keeping something from me?" she replied
"No it's just that I have things ppl shouldn't see"
"Mmhmm" she said and walked out.
I don't know how but she talked me into taking her to the movies.. We got our tickets, went into the place where the movie was showing, sat down and waited
*Towards the end of movie*
We both had to use the bathroom so we went into the restroom and she pinned me up against the wall. I didn't really feel that spark anymore with her but I didn't know how to tell her. So all I did was go along with it. We made out like that for about 10 minutes until I heard someone come in. Angela didnt notice it but I did bc the person that came in was Jesse. I quickly pushed away from Angela and stood there in shock.
"Jesse!! It's not what it looks like!" My voice was shaky.
"It looks like you were fucking making out with that damn chick!"
I was silent..
"Jesse please don't I can ex-" I tried to say but she cut me off
"Don't fucking say a word. We're through!" With that she ran out of the room and Angela slapped my face
"Fucking Cheater!!" she yelled then ran out. I fell to the floor and began to cry. My body went numb I couldn't feel anything. Jesse the girl of my dreams fucking hates me now!
"I'm such a fucking screw up!!!" I yelled knowing no one could hear me. After a hour or two of crying, I walked to my car, and drove home. I unlocked the door, went in, laid on the couch, and cried myself to sleep.
