Nishinoya x Reader : Roadtrip

The long-awaited summer-break was here. The warm breeze, the plain relaxation without school, and Nishinoya. Indeed, you were close with Nishinoya, it was a relationship since diapers.

Your phone rings. "Oh hey, Noya," You put the phone close to your ear while you folded laundry. "OooOooh, a road trip? Sounds fun. I'm sure mom will allow- yup; sure. Kaykay, see you." You put down the phone and looked out your window. There he was, holding a sign pestering your mother to allow you. Thank you, Noya, you thought. You went downstairs waiting for the conversation to end. Right before Noya left he winked at you and to you, it meant the "go" signal.

He left taking back the giant cardboard sign and walking away. "Oh, Noya was here?" You asked sounding supposedly unaware. "Yeah," Your mom took a big drink of grape juice mixed with alcohol aka wine. "He kept on pestering me about allowing you to go with him for some kind of trip." She rolled her eyes as she drank her beverage. "Convinced, mom you're too weak." You thought. The wine glass was a perfect stage act to get your mom to be drunk and allow you. Well, truth is, she would've never allowed Y/n to go on the trip if she wasn't drunk. Don't copy Y/n. Anyways, there you were standing in front of your drunk mom. "Well," You fiddled your fingers, nervously breathing. "Like what nishinoya asked, can I go?" You asked her. She looked at you weird first then,

No.

"What? Why no? Mom! It's summer!" You complained to her. "Mhm, exactly. No going out without me." She wiggled her finger. "You're still such a baby! Why would I let you out!" She laughed. Out of your frustration, you ran upstairs to call nishinoya. "NISHINOYA!" You shouted at your phone's microphone. "What-what?!" He shouted as well. "My mom said no," you sniffled your nose and wiped your tears. "Damnit, why am I crying?" You asked him. "I don't know with you dummy," the line got broken.

In the Nishinoya Household;

"But it's okay... I was supposed to tell you on the road trip but," Yuu giggled. "Well, I like you Y/n." Yuu looked at the phone and realized it was cut off. "damnit." He thought.

Back to the L/n household;

Oh? You looked at your phone and threw it on the bed. You hugged your knees. Keep in mind it was like 9 pm, why would nishinoya pester your mom at a time like this- anyways, you took a nap and listened to music.

You woke up to the sound of rattling in the window. You stood up and got some kind of baton or bat and waited below the window. "Who are you! I have a bat!" You shouted. There, your phone rang. "Nishinoya!! Help me !! Someone's coming to rob me!" You quivered in your fuzzy boots. "Chill, it's me" He bumped up his palm on the window. "Oh," You lifted the window. "You scared me, you donkey." You tried to insult him. "Right... anyway, let's go?" Nishinoya said pointing to the ladder leading down towards the car he took. The car's backseat had fairy lights and a bunch of blankets. "Nishinoya!! Thank you!! I have never sneaked out before, let's hope mom doesn't get mad.." You hugged him and grabbed a piece of paper. "What's that for?" He asked. "I'm just gonna put this, here.." You wrote a letter and it read;

"Mom sorry I'm safe pls don't call the cops I'm ok get mad at me later"

"An applause for professionalism!" Nishinoya high fives you. "Right?" You smiled back. "Here we go," Nishinoya took your hand as you went down the ladder. "Here we go." You said hopping down the last step. You two walked towards the car and quickly started it.

"Nishinoya this is gonna be an amazing road trip!" You smiled. You looked through the pillows and blankets and laid down. He smiled back.

You two continued your ride, atleast it had been 25 miles that you guys ran. Very very far from home. You guys were targeting the beach. Until nishinoya tapped your shoulder.

"What do you want?" You asked aggressively. "Well... I-well... I don't have gas," Nishinoya turned the car key in spite of trying to turn it on. You guys were on the side of the road, it was almost sunset aswell. You turned pale, you didn't really like being stranded but I guess being stranded with you is fine, you thought. "Now that we're here... and stuck. I wanted to say, I well.. like you." Nishinoya said blushing. "Oh my god, kiss me you twat." You rolled your eyes. "Really!!?!" "Really."
