{25} Carrots for his reindeer

(lillian's POV)

I wake up at 9, giving me an hour to get ready, I get up, take a shower, and go into my closet, I get a pair of jeans, a white cable knit sweater and some white booties, I also grab a hat with a wite little puff ball

I walk into the kitchen and I pop an eggo into the toaster and put some syrup on it, I eat it and then here a knock on the door

I get up and see ace, he smiles "hey Lilly."

"Hey Ace." I give him a hug "now, what did you have planned that made me wake up this early on school break?"

"Well.. first we're gonna go to starbucks, then we're gonna go to ice skating, then we're gonna go back to my house and make christmas cookies, then watch a movie, then you can finally go home to your beloved bed." he laughs a little

"Hmm.. I guess that does sound kinda fun." I smile and take his hand

"I know, I worked very hard to make the perfect pre-christmas date." he says as we walked down the hall

We got into his car and he drove us to starbucks, we go inside and there are beautiful christmas decorations and drinks

"Ok, m'lady what would you like?" he asks

"Didn't I tell you never to call me that?" I say laughing a little

"Hmm... I guess you did." he says putting it arms around my shoulders from behind me

"We'll have 2 grande peppermint lattes." he kisses the top of my head and I giggle a tiny bit

"Alright,and name?"

"Lilly" Ace says

"Got it, 2 grande peppermint lattes, for Lilly, coming right up!" the counter lady says

We hold hands as we waited in the pick up to get our drinks

"Ooh, Lilly, turn around." Ace says

I turn around and he snaps a picture of me with the christmas decorations and I laugh a little

"You look gorgeous!" he says showing me the picture

"I really don't but, thanks." I smile a little and they call out my name "why did you tell them to say Lilly?" I ask grabbing the drinks

He shrugs "I don't know." he takes a sip of his drink as we walk back to his car

We drove to the park where the ice rink is and got out the car, we walk up to the kiosk and they ask for our shoe sizes

"7" I say

"12 and ½" Ace says

I look up at him i n shock "really?" I giggle a little

He nods his head as he grabs our ice skates "hey, don't judge." he laughs as we go to a bench to put the shoes on

"So little confession, I haven't been ice skating since I was 9." I laugh a little

"It's alright, come on." he holds my hand and we step onto the rink, I immediately fall and ace laughs a little

"So much for it's alright!" I say taking Ace's hand again as well as the railing

We go around the rink a couple times as I start to get the hang of it I let go of the bar and only hold his hand

"See, your getting it!" he says smiling as we go around the rink a few more times

"Thanks Ace." I giggle, we keep ice skating for about another hour, as we took pictures and talked, it started to snow a little bit

"Oooh! Ace look!" I say as I noticed the snow fall

"It's so pretty!" I tell him like i was a 4 year old, it's not that rare for it to snow in oregon, but since it's the day before christmas it's pretty cool.

"Yeah, it's so nice." he says kissing my cheek "do you think it will snow on christmas?" he asks

"Maybe."

After a little we walk back to his car and we go inside "now, cookies!" Ace says laughing a little as we drive to his house

We get there and then walk inside, Ace takes me to their kitchen and starts taking out some flour, and sugar

"Wait, we're making them from scratch?" I ask

"Mmhm!" he says also grabbing milk, butter, chocolate chips, vanilla, and brown sugar

"You realize I can't cook right?" I say walking over to ace and all the ingredients

"You'll be fine, remember I'm basically a master." he laughs lightly as he gets measuring cups and spoons

"I guess you are." I say smiling "so what do we do?" I ask once he grabs the rest of the ingredients

"Add some sugar." he says measuring some sugar in a measuring cup than handing it to me, I put the sugar in the bowl then

We continue adding the ingredients and then I go to take some of our cookie dough, but right before I could swipe some I felt arms around me and I was being pulled away from the bowl

"Ace!" I pout trying to break free of his hold

"No cookie dough for you! No no no!" he jokingly scolds me laughing

"You're the worst Ace!" I pout

"I know." he laughs and he puts me down, we go back to the bowl and plop a bunch of balls on a cookie pan and then put it in the oven for 20 minutes

We sit on the kitchen island and Ace asks "well.. Since tomorrow is christmas, I was wondering if you and your brother weren't doing anything, you guys could come to my parents huge christmas party, it's like a whole feast with all my cousins and family friends."

"Well, me, my brother and his fiance are going to go to her family, but I don't like having to, so I could go." I smile

"Alright cool!" Ace says with a smile

I see hats on the counter, a reindeer and a Santa hat. I put one on Ace, The Santa one of course "you look beautiful!" I tell him laughing a little

"Why, thank you." he puts the reindeer one on me "so do you." he says laughing too

"Oh lets watch home alone!" I say munching on one of our cookies as we laid on the coach and surfed the TV for a movie

"Sounds good." he says also eating one of the cookies and he turns the movie on

I lay on Ace's side as we watched the movie, It was so long since I watched it

Did you all know how smart the little boy is? He really just set up all those traps

When we were done with the movie Anne came downstairs "hey we need to set out floor for santa, oh and carrots for his reindeer!" she says

I handed her one of the cookies we made "here, how about you go put this on a plate while Ace gets some carrots?" I say with a smile

"Ok!" she says running into the kitchen and getting a plate for the cookie and Ace grabs a couple baby carrots, they lay them in the living room

Anne says "we need to go to bed that way Santa can come!" she says running upstairs

"Ok, let me take Lilly home, then I'll go straight to bed." Ace says laughing a little and takes my hand as we walk out his house.
