Hawaii

It was A beautiful place.

It was a much needed vacation.

There wasn't anyone bothering the couple for pictures or trying to get them to sign things.

It was just them relaxing and enjoying the much needed time together.

"This is nice" Rebecca said as she felt Colby wrap his arms around her from behind

"It's something we've needed for awhile" he nodded as he felt her lean back into his chest "no distractions, no work, no Sophie" he said with a smile

"I love that little girl to death but she is.." she shook her head

"A lot to handle at times?" He questioned and she laughed

"That's one way to put it"

"Regret it?" He asked and she looked up at him as she turned around in his arms "do you regret coming into our lives?"

"No" she shook her head "my life would be far less entertaining without you two" she smiled "it's the best decision I've ever made"

"Hopefully it's not the last good decision you make"

"What?" She laughed and she felt him take a deep breath, she saw his face change

"This vacation is to celebrate everything we have achieved this year, it is for us to be able to connect on a deeper level but this is also the place that I want us to start our forever"

"Aw" she said quietly and he stepped back from her, his hands that were once wrapped around her were now holding hers "Are you okay?" She asked and he nodded

"I've wanted to do this for a long time but I just didn't admit it to myself" he smiled slightly "I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I want to be by your side for everything, I want to watch you conquer the world and when you do it I want to be able to look at the people who have doubted you and say that's my wife"

She didn't know what she expected him to say when and if he ever proposed but she never could have expected this heartfelt speech.. he was pouring everything into this speech. She was having a hard time keeping her own composure when she saw the tears form in his eyes as he hit one knee in the sand and she lost all composure she had.

"Will you marry me?"

"Yes" she said in a breathless whisper, if he hadn't been watching her every move he never would have known she said something "Yes" she said louder this time with a nod of her head and she pulled him off the ground as their lips crashed together

She pulled away slightly as he carefully took the ring from the box and placed it on her finger before placing a kiss gently there

"I love you" she said in a whisper and he smiled down at her as he gently grabbed her face in both of his hands and kissed her

"I love you" he placed another kiss to her lips "Wife" he said with a smile as he heard her laugh

That laugh, was music to his ears and he would get to hear it for the rest of his life.
