It was Royal Rumble weekend, one of the busiest weekends for the superstars.

Rebecca walked into her hotel after her signing and saw Ashley standing by the front desk with a smile.

"That's not creepy at all" Rebecca shook her head as she walked up to the blonde
"What are you talking about?" Ashley laughed
"You're just standing there smiling at me as I walk in the door"
"I have a job" she grabbed the redhead's arm
"You have a job? What job?" Rebecca laughed as she felt herself being pulled
"Sophie told me it was my job to get you where I need to get you to"
"What?" Rebecca questioned confused as she got on the elevator
"You'll see" Ashley smiled

Ashley pushed Rebecca down the hallway and the redhead kept looking back at her confused, as they got to the unfamiliar room, Ashley unlocked the door and pushed the redhead in and closed the door behind her.

"WELCOME!" Rebecca heard Sophie's tiny voice and she looked from the door down to the tiny child in front of her who was smiling up at her
"Sophie.. what are you doing?" She asked with a laugh
"Welcome to my café.. this way" the little girl said as she grabbed Rebecca's hand and walked her out to the balcony

Rebecca saw Colby sitting in a metal chair next to a tiny table on the balcony and she looked at him confused
"What is going on?" She asked as she took the seat next to him and he shrugged
"This is my café" Sophie said and both adults turned their attention to her "We have water and water" she said
"What are you up to kid?" Colby questioned and the little girl smiled at him
"You said you can't take Rebecca on a date because you're both busy.. so I brought the date to you" the little girl explained "Have fun!" She said

They watched the little girl run back in the room and shutting the glass door and they heard a locking sound
"Did she just lock us out here?" Rebecca asked as she looked over at Colby
"I think she did" He nodded "I guess she really wants us to go on this date"
"She's something else" Rebecca shook her head
"I can't blame her" he shrugged
"Colby" she looked over at him with a shake of her head and their eyes met
"What?" He questioned "You and I have been avoiding this date for a long time" he nodded
"You've never said anything about a date to me before"
"If I did would you have said yes?"
"Maybe" she shrugged "Who knows, you didn't ask" she reiterated "I was forced into a room by a tall blonde and locked outside on a balcony with you"
"Well here we are.. so let's take advantage of it, because I don't think she's gonna let us back in anytime soon"
"Take advantage of it how?"
"Alright" he nodded as she watched him take a deep breath "We've been friends for a long time.. years" he said and she nodded "and I'm just going to lay it all out there and if it fucks this friendship up then it fucks it up but you need to know how I feel"
"How you feel.." She said in a whisper
"I don't think it's a secret that I have feelings for you, you're not naive.. I know you've seen it, I know you know that.. and I can see that you feel the same way"
"Maybe a little bit" she nodded as a small smile formed
"Sophie asked me after Sara left when you and I were going to be together"
"She sees it" Rebecca nodded "She sees something going on between us"
"She was the one that called me out on it first, my daughter was the one who called me out.. and that wasn't the one who I thought would call me out" he shook his head with a laugh "I honestly thought it would be either you or Ashley"
"Well Ashley called me out if it makes you feel better" she nodded "Can I ask a question?"
"Of course" he nodded
"How.. how long have you had feelings for me exactly?"
"I've liked you from the first time we met, we hit it off instantly and you know that.. but that pull between us became stronger as the years went on.. and then when we both became single it was that much stronger"
"We are best friends" she said with a small laugh and he nodded
"Those are the best kinds of relationships, when you're friends first"
"You want to be in a relationship?"
"Do I need to spell it out for you Rebecca?" He laughed
"Just kiss her already!" They heard Sophie yell from inside the room

They looked back at the little girl who was watching this entire thing go down and then back to one another.

Rebecca felt Colby's hands grab her face gently and pull her towards him, and she went.. willingly.

When their lips finally met it was like a jolt of electricity went through them both, neither had ever felt something like it before.

"Whoa" Rebecca said as she pulled away after a few seconds of savoring what had just occurred
"Whoa good or whoa bad?" Colby asked in a whisper
"Whoa, why didn't we do this sooner?" She questioned and he smiled before capturing her lips once more
