I think I decided to become
atheist
when god felt elusive
and more or less unattainable.
And the more I thought this way,
the more it made sense.
And while I don't believe in god,
I still talk to my dead grandmother
on my roof
when the stars are out.
Because I believe
I have to believe
that there is someone out there
who'd choose me
and love me
and sit with me
no matter what.
And it seemed easiest to pick
the person who'd never
prove me wrong.- I don't think I'll ever stop talking to you.
