"So you like her then?" Thomas asks through the phone

"She's so lovely" you up smile remembering your night,

You met Ava, socialised a lot, gave her the present Thomas bought you, to give to her. She loved it. You hung out with her for a while, and a girl named Molly, she was really funny. Then you spent the rest of the night with Thomas outside, talking. Kissing. Talking. Kissing. Talking...

You forget Thomas is on the line, and miss half his sentence,

"-I just thought it'd be fun. Plus I'm super bored here at Ava's!?" He heaves

"Huh?" You say

"So that's a no?" He sighs again

"No I was thinking, say that again?" You tell him

"Can. I. Come. Over. Later?"

"Oh yeah, sure. Totally?!" You wince at how childish you sound,

"Okay good! I'll see you soon" he's smiling, you know it

"Bye."

"Bye" you hang up

*1 week earlier*

You don't know how or why. But it just happened. You and Thomas were seeing more of each other, and you were seeing less of everyone else. He was what kept you up late talking about how great life is, and how much he loves the stars.

And somewhere along that timeline he had asked you a question. A question you never thought, the, Thomas Sangster, would ask.

It wasn't awkward or weird, childish or immature. He just simply had said,

"Lara Streets. Would you like to become my fully fledged girlfriend?" He had smiled, there was no way anyone could say no.

"I'd love to become your fully fledged girlfriend Thomas Sangster" then you'd kissed him, and you'd both smiled.

*1 week later*

Your sitting in bed, watching movies and scrolling through your Instagram. Your phone vibrates and a message from Dylan comes up.

Dylan: are you alive anymore?

You chuckle and respond quickly

You: very much, what about you?

Dylan: still breathing.

You: what's wrong?

Dylan: Kaya got a boyfriend, I haven't seen you in about two weeks, dads gone to hospital, Ki is visiting his uncle Troy, who's got cancer. And your dating Thomas.

You: call me...

You hear your ringtone come on and you answer it,

"Dylan?"

"That's me"

"When are you free? Preferable really soon?"

"Can I come over now?"

"Yes!" You hang up

Your Instagram comes back up and you start to scroll, until you see a picture of Kaya and her new boyfriend. He's taller than her, arm around her shoulder. He's got black wavy hair and Italian skin. He's pretty. The photo is tagged, and above the man it says Derek_Foster. It saddens you to see Kaya with "Derek" because every time time Dylan has an infatuation, it becomes unbearable hard for him to move on. And clearly he hasn't moved on from Kaya. Speaking of Kaya you haven't seen much of her either, neither has Thomas. You sort of drifted for her, your still friends but, not close.

Your scrolling is interrupted buy Dylan walking into your room, he didn't even knock?

"You should probably have knocked, I could have nothing on right now?"

He walks over to your bed and jumps down next to you, in his hands is a block of Cadbury chocolate and the titanic.

"But you hate the titanic?" You ask him

"Well if it works for you, it will work for me." He gives you a huge hug "can you pwease put It on for wittle Dylan?"

You sigh and get up you don't have any pants on, just undies and a t-shirt, but you don't care and Dylan won't either.

"What's happened to your dad?" You plonk back down on your comfy bed and press the play button. Dylan opens the the chocolate and starts eating. You check your phone, -9:34am

"He just had a fall, it's not serious it's just temporary. As for you, what's happened with you and Thomas?" He starts to nudge you and wink

"We're dating?" You say like everyone already knew

"And why did I have to find out from Wes?" He sits up p, leaning against you. The titanic starts and Dylan is still preoccupied with talking, so you pause it.

"Wes?" You laugh

"Yes. Wes. Everyone knew from Thomas, but I had to be told from Wes! Why didn't you call me straight away and tell me?" He doesn't notice the movie has been paused

"It happened so slowly, plus you were preoccupied with stuff" you try not to bring up the subject of Kaya and Derek_Foster,

"Kaya-" Dylan starts, looking grim

You quickly unpause the movie, "look Dylan! We have a movie to watch" you nudge and smile at him. Than he says something you haven't heard him say since you were nine.

"Your my bestest and most favouritest friend!"

*A day later*

You'd finally organised your flights to Morocco and you were leaving a month from now. Thomas had also wanted to come, and considering you were dating. You said yes. You were also going to see your dad who lives there, and Thomas was really excited about that. You weren't.

The shower goes slightly cold and you turn it off quickly. You hear something inside the room, and grab the closest towel and wrap it around your body. Thomas is here but he's asleep, it's about seven in the morning.

"Boo!" Thomas screams from behind you

You jump up but Thomas grabs you before you can fall over, your panting. He scared the hell out of you. In the whole process your towel came off and He has definitely noticed!

"Can you pass me that towel please" you say covering your body,

He picks the towel up, "I don't want to-" he hands you the towel "but I will"

"It's so early, what are you doing?" You both walk out of the bathroom into your room,

"Well I couldn't sleep while you were singing" he sits down on your bed

"Singing?" You ask

"Yes Lara. You sing in the shower" he says giggling

"Oh" you mutter

Thomas stands up, your trying to find clothes to put on when you see him walking towards you. Your still only in a towel and you wish he could just let you get dressed,

"What are you doing" you quickly grab your tye dye and some undies and put them on super quick so Thomas doesn't notice,

"I'm going to kiss you" he says, swinging you round, he passionately kisses you. Spiders attack your back, you still get that feeling every time he kisses you.

"I love you" he whispers. He's never said those words to you before. What if he means it? Does he mean it?

"I love you too" you say in his ear.
