That day the human race stood there as alone as if it had been marooned upon an island. Though they did not lift their eyes, or stand up tall, they seemed nonetheless to sense their abandonment. The human race was like a sickly bird in a cage, and the cage appeared to be growing smaller.


You clenched your jaw staring up into the sky. The booming thunder developed a ring in your ears. There was an immense amount of smoke rising up into the air, floating up and past the large wall that separated you from the human like creatures outside.

Your blood ran cold as a monstrous hand gripped the wall, chaos broke out around you yet you stayed standing where you were. You were frozen, and horrified of what you were seeing.

Dust clouded around you as panicked people shoved past harshly, you already felt the inevitable bruises painted across your small shoulders, yet you were still gazing into the sky.

This was the end. You thought.
