A Devil and an Angel once fell in love,
And Angel's wings were more lovely than that of a dove,
But Devil's heart was more heavy than the thickest stone,
But the Angel did never leave the devil alone,

One day Angel wrapped Devil up in their arms,
And together they flew past the clouds to the stars,
But the Devil was too heavy to carry you see,
'Let go of me, Angel, or you will fall and perish with me,

But the Angel didn't listen and continued to fly,
To the moon, past the mountains, they flew to the sky,
And the Devil's shadowy heart made it harder to rise,
Still Angel didn't let go despite Devil's pleading cries,

Soon Angel grew tired and weary and weak,
And the fearful Devil began to quiver and shriek,
'Let go of me! Do it now or you'll die!
Everyone knows us Devils can't fly!'

Angel held Devil closer, their withering feathers exposed,
It hurt to hold them, like thorns on a rose,
'You are the one I have been waiting for ever since birth',
And with that, together they tumbled to the Earth.
