42 He came

Betty rolled her eyes with an expression that said as "as if we believe you".

"You guys are the worst friends." Andrea said jokingly and left to prepare for the lecture.

Brian and Betty looked at each other.

"Thanks for sticking with her at this time. She really needed a friend with all those rumors spread by Kevin."

"I am not doing this because you asked so don't go around thanking me. I am doing it because she is my best friend and I can't see her scared of that scum."

Brian smiled and nodded.

"See you later." And then Brian left the girl's dorm.

The day went fine but Brian didn't hear any news about Kevin which was a little weird since he expected the news to spread like fire in the campus.

I can't be stupid enough to investigate it now. Let's just wait till tomorrow. It should reach the campus if he died at his apartment.

Meanwhile the person whom Brian wanted dead was chilling in the campus.

He had felt that he wasn't rested enough after last night so skipped the day and came back to the college campus just after classes ended. 

There was a party being organized in the frat house. Kevin was like the one got the drugs for the party and even upperclassmen invited him because of the all psychedelics he could bring to the table. 

It was well known that Juana family had started from smuggling drugs from Mexico and still had little connections among the gangs operating across the border.

Kevin parked his car and walked into the party. His two friends also walked in like they owned the house. Kevin passed a small packet and someone lead him to a room filled with smoke. "We were pretty passed out and left without Brian. We never came here, remember this."

The other guy nodded. The so called friends wanted no part in it. 

It was in the morning next day when a janitor was called in to clean the frat house because of the party last night that the college admin got involved.
