In the law firm's conference room when Brian arrived with Rob just 10 minutes before the meeting with the VP candidate suggested by law firms boss.

Brian entered to see a tall lady already sitting on one side of the table. As Brian walked in, the person stood up.

"Laura Green." She introduced herself.

Laura was wearing a white shirt with a black coat and a black pencil skirt. There wasn't any skin showing in the room but she looked incredibly sexy to Brian.

Why am I thinking about how good she must be in bed. Will I be that kind of boss. No, absolutely not.

Brian cleared his throat and introduced himself.

"Miss Green, Mr Ross should have told you about our product and how well it works. While I know some things about you, I want to know more about your motivations and the reason for coming back to the business world."

"It's good to be skeptical. I worked at a VC firm before this. My mother used to take care of my daughter while I worked. It's just that my mom had some health complications last year and I came back to San Diego to take care of her and my daughter. I didn't want to half ass my work so I quit to concentrate on my family. Sadly, my mother passed away and now my daughter went to college. So, I decided to come back."

"Sorry to hear about your mom. I have seen your resume. I am all impressed and our company would love to have you but you should know the condition of our company. There are only 5-6 employees in total with all of them working in the manufacturing division. I plan to hire you as the executive VP of Magic Tech but you will have really wide responsibilities since we are just getting started. What do you think should be the compensation."

"I don't have loads of expectations. I believe President Brian would be able to decide how much my talents are worth."

What a seductress. Everything is yours. What should I give her. I can't dilute stocks. Let's double it for now and think about the rest in bonuses.

"How about atleast double of what you got at the last firm since you will have more responsibilities. I am sure you will be satisfied with the bonuses at the end of the working year."

"President Brian is really generous. I will be trying my best."

"Let's sign the contracts then. You will signing an NDA(non disclosure agreement) as well."

I used the intercom and Mr Ross came in with his team and the formalities were done.

"Miss Green. What i had decided before recruiting you was about to apply for a big loan. If we expand based on our profits, it will take years for any big expansion." Brian passed her the documents.

"We have a unique product. While I haven't tried the product, Mr Ross praised it a lot in front of me saying that it will be a gold mine. We should get a loan of about 9-10 million. The more the better, we will be able to make it back in no time. You can call me, Laura. It's hard for me to get used to honorifics."

"Alright, Laura. You can just call me Brian then. I want to improve the branding of our company. Our product has no competitor but it feels like a cheap scam. I am really annoyed by that. We started 2 weeks back, we have a small store running at the Central Mall. We will visit it after we go out from here. I would like what you think our priorities should be."

"How many pillows can we produce in a day. Everything depends on that figure."

"We can produce 1500/day right now. To expand the production line, Rob would need about 12 million to double the production capacity."

"1500 isn't too bad. We can get that 10 million loan. Rent an office space and hire a marketing team and few coders. It would be sufficient in the short term. Do guys have any special requests while hiring."

"Nothing from my side, it's just that Rob doesn't like people visiting the factory which also serves as his lab so the business side will have no contact with the core research team. If any team has any suggestions, you can only forward it through me."

Laura nodded.

"Let's go visit the store then, I will leave the loan application to Laura."

Brian came out with Laura.

Brian saw Laura walking towards a pretty looking SUV, it was an Audi Q7.

Who is the protagonist here. Isn't the script wrong? She had look at my expensive car in awe but I have a ford.

Brian decided to replace the ford with some luxury SUV.
