Right Back Where We Started

On April the 1st, 2019, the Earth was destroyed in a cataclysmic event. Billions of people were wiped out in a matter of minutes. Ironically, the seven survivors of the apocalypse were the very siblings who brought it on.

~~Esme's P.O.V~~

I yelled as I fell out of the portal onto the concrete ground.

"Fuck." I got up and saw that nobody had come with me and the portal was closing. "Five! Klaus! Allison!" The light blue portal closed and I was all alone. I looked down to see the ring was still on my finger and I sighed with relief.

'Thank God.' I thought. I walked out into the street to see everyone was dressed differently, and I saw a sign in a store across the street that said 'whites only'.

"The hell..." I turned the corner and bumped into someone causing me to fall back on my ass.

"Esme?" Looked up to see Hazel and the lady from Griddy's who's name I believe to be Agnes.

"Hazel?" He helped me up and I dusted off my clothes. "Where the hell am I, or should I saw when in the hell am I?"

"Dallas, January 6, 1963. How did you get here?" Agnes asked kindly.

"Umm." Got closer to Hazel and whispered. "Does she know everything?" He nodded. "Well, I time traveled. My boyfriend opened a portal so we could escape the apocalypse, but it went wrong."

"Well, why don't we get back to our place and cleaned up. Then we can get you settled."

I stayed with Hazel and Agnes for a little while before we found out that Agnes had cancer. They left the house to me since they stayed at the hospital, they had become like my aunt and uncle, always looking out for me. I visited her in the hospital everyday until she passed. Over the months I was alone I never gave up on trying to find my siblings, I did find Allison but she was happily married and I didn't want to bother them. Even though we do need to get back to our time, we should do it together and when we're ready. After Agnes passed Hazel traveled away, before that though I told him if he found Five to send him to me. He said Agnes had already made him promise he would. It's been over ten months since I got here and over two months since Hazel left, I am still waiting.

~~Five's P.O.V~~

I fell out of the portal onto the cement ground. I scrambled up to see if everyone was okay only to see nobody.

"Esme! Luther! Diego!" I yelled and the portal closed, I heard gunshots so I turned around to see fire and destruction. As I walked closer I saw that I had landed in the middle of a war, there was a tank and many men shooting and speaking Russian.

"Soviets attack US?" I read the headline of a newspaper nearby. "No, this can't be right." I walked a little more to just see more destruction and chaos, and the American soldiers.

"Gonna get you outta here, just keep your head down."

"Medic! Medic!"

"Hey kid, get down!"

"What the hell did we do now?" After I said that the tank went off and it threw me back. I looked up to see Vanya dressed in black float up with her hands out destroyed the missile. Next to her was Klaus, he then sent a bunch of ghost soldiers to fight the Soviets. Luther then jumped behind Klaus and took a missile for him. As more guys were about to shoot them Ben used his power from his place on top of a building and killed them. I then turned and saw Allison face three guys.
