"Yes sir," He chuckled out before walking out of the room. Just before he closed the door he spoke, "I'll send Ella to keep you company."

Not to long after, Ella came into the room with a box of something and that was it. "Hey," She greeted, walking over to the bed. "I've got something for you, wanna guess what it is?"

"...Um...I don't know, a book?" I questioned more than guessed. Ella smiled and shook her head. Then she placed the pink cardboard body on the bed.

"Not even close." She opened up the box and smiled brightly. Desserts? "I brought you some sweet stuff since I know that you don't like to be trapped here. I hope this kind of makes you feel better..." I stared down at the treats and picked up a cupcake.

"I've never had any of this before..." I whispered quietly. "What's this one?"

"It's a strawberry cupcake," She said and smiled. "Take the paper off and take a bite," she said, grabbing a cupcake as well. I back at my own while Ella ate hers and I slowly took a bite. My eyes widened before they snapped up to Ella. It was so...so sweet. I liked it. I chewed slowly and savored the flavor before taking another bite and another until there was nothing left but the wrapper.

Ella didn't ask me anything which made me glad because I wasn't sure how to put into words what I was feeling. Ella smiled at me with patience and I picked up another cupcake, this one being chocolate I think. It was just as good as the first one too. "I'll put the rest in the fridge," Ella said, getting up with the treats. I threw away the left over paper wrappers and stood up, walking carefully over to the sink. I washed my hands and used a towel to dry them off while Ella stared at me.

"What?" I asked a big defensively. "Do I have frosting on my face?" She laughed as I began to wipe my mouth.

"No! No, you don't," She said. "I'm just wondering how everything is going between you and my brother..."

"You're brother?" I asked in confusion. "I've never met your brother..."

"Yeah, you have. Did Silas never tell you?" She gasped out before narrowing her eyes and crossing her arms over her chest. "Wow, what a bitch." Ellas pouted and sat on the counter. I leaned against it and blinked.

"So you and Silas are siblings?" I looked over her facial features. "I guess your hair kind of distracts from the fact you guys look similar."

Ella gave me a flat smile and nodded. "Yeah, that's usually what happens. I bet some people don't even know even if they've been here for a while to be honest," She joked and laughed softly. "I think he kind of keeps it a secret because then people won't try to use me against him or something like that. And honestly I don't really care, I know that I'm his little sister and that's all that matters to me." I looked at her chewed on my index finger.

"Do you guys have parents too?" Ellas eyes dimmed and she looked down.

"No, not anymore. We use to but that was a long time ago..."

"Oh..."

"Do you have any siblings or parents?" I looked away slowly and stared at the patterns on the duvet on the bed.

"No. I don't think I ever had any parents. If I did I don't remember them. I've never had siblings before either, it's always just been me. Maybe that's why I'm not good at..." At living. "...at speaking?" My eyes went back over to Ella who just chuckled and shrugged.

"I can be your sister if you marry Silas~" She sang out with a smug smirk. My face felt all warm like that one time I was with Silas in that little hospital room.

"What?"

There was a vicious knock at the door which made both of us jump a bit in out spots. Ella huffed and got off the counter. "Stay here, I'll get it. It might be Nicholas or something," She grumbled out in annoyance. I looked down the short hall curiously and watched Ella crack the door open. Her face went from annoyed to shock.

"What...what the hell are you doing here? You're not allowed near this room. Go away." I heard and muffled gasp or scoff of some kind.

"I want to see why he's so special. Why hasn't Silas gotten rid of him already?" It was a woman's voice.

"Greta, go away before I tell Silas and Adam. I'm not stupid, I know what you're trying to do. You're not special, okay? Just because you and him use to be buddies does not mean you get to harass...." She lowered her voice and I couldn't make out the last part very well.

"That's not his m-!"

Ella slammed the door shut and locked it, picking up her phone. Her nails tapped viciously on the screen before she shoved it back into her pocket.

"Who was that?"

"Just a stupid jerk..." Ella muttered while rolling her eyes.
