derek's pov
after a couple minuets of driving, we parked and looked through the mirror. she was sleeping.
vallyk- y/n wake up
he said as we got off the car. we opened the door and shook her
derek- y/nnn
i said making her slightly wake up
y/n- are we here
she groaned. we nodded and she got off the car. we started walking a bit further into the forest. we followed the 5 min trail and ended up at a hill with the view of a sunset and the water hitting the rocks. we found a nice small place by a tree and sat down.
y/n- why are we here again
she said putting her jacket on.
vallyk- tell us what's wrong, were here for you
derek- how do you feel
vallyk- okay no your just making it feel like a therapy type shit
he said chuckling

y/n's pov
y/n- i- i dont know how i feel.
i said and looked at the sunset, they stayed quiet
y/n- i never imagines my future like this. i always thought i'd have a normal life like any other girl. i never thought they'd chose popularity over me
i said and pulled my knees together
derek- normal isn't always perfect y/n
he said as he placed his hand on mine
y/n- no let's not talk about this.
vallyk- why, were tryna help you
y/n- im making you guys feel bad and i don't want to
i said and slightly smiled.
derek- whatever you go through, we go through.
he said making me tear up.
vallyk- group hug
he yelled and pulled us all in. i chuckled and eventually the group hug turned into a dog pile
y/n- oh wow- your crushing me
i said trying to breath and laugh at the same time
derek- okay okay okay, my leg-
he yelled and vallyk got off us. we caught out breath and looked around. i was looking at the trees when i saw a tall tree and got up.
vally- where you going
he asked
y/n- come
i said and watched as they got up. i got to the tree and started climbing.
derek- um no, your gonna fall
he said
y/n- pftt as if
i said and continued climbing until we were pretty high
y/n- shit
i said as i poked my head up the branches and saw the view
vallyk- y/n if you- oh my lanta
he said doing the same
derek- your both scaring me-
he said and we stayed quiet as we enjoyed the view. it was getting darker and the stars were shining bright, the moon was big and everything was quiet, all you could hear were the crickets and small animals. i checked the time and it was 8.
derek- should we get going
he said as i was staring at my phone
y/n- yea i guess so
i said and we all went down.
vallyk- were coming next week
he said as he jumped off the branch and picked up his jacket
y/n- thanks for bringing me here. it took my mind of plenty of things
i said and they smiled. we walked to the car and hopped in.
after the boys dropped me off, i walked into the house and looked for something to eat
y/n- hey is dad home
i said as i seen mom walk into the living room
mom- no he's with some friends
y/n- oh
i said and put some rice and chicken on my plate
mom- why so late
y/n- the boys took me to this forest
mom- im glad you have better friends
y/n- mom please don't start
i said and she put her hands up in defense
mom- okay i wont but im just saying. goodnight
she said as walked upstairs.
