Anakin knew how much he could lose by leaving the Jedi order. He didn't want to. Every part of him told him he needed to stay, but as he looked down at his former padawan, who was inconsolable, he knew he had to leave. Ahsoka had always been there for him, even in the times when he was so angry, he would only see red. She never left him, and now he wouldn't leave her.

Ahsoka looked at him in shock. "No. You can't come with me." She said sadly.

"Well you aren't going to change my mind." He said sternly. Ahsoka rubbed her eyes. "The Jedi order is your life as much as it used to be mine. I can't let you leave because of me." She took a shaky breath.

"Bye Anakin." She turned and started to walk away. Anakin felt so hopeless. He had to convince her to let him leave with her. Anakin knew that if he didn't she would make sure he ended up back here.

"Ahsoka wait!" She stopped walking and turned around, looking down at the ground. "Ever since I've known you, you have constantly taught valuable lessons, and you've shaped me into who I am. Without you... I- I don't know who I would be." She looked up at him and her eyes filled with tears again. She ran up to him, buried her face into his chest, and wrapped her arms around his neck. Anakin put his arms around her back. Her skin was so soft and beautiful. Anakin's robes soaked up her tears and soon they were sopping wet. He was content to stand there as long as possible. He had never felt this way before. Was he in love? Anakin stroked her back and she twisted out of his grip. She looked at him with a confused, angry, sad, and satisfied expression. Was it possible that she loved him too?

"Anakin-", her expression turned sad again, "I'm sorry, but please stay here. Here with your family and friends."
"Ahsoka you are my fam-" She put her hand up and he stopped speaking.
"Goodbye." She sniffled. She turned around and began to walk again. Anakin watched her slowly walk down the steps of the temple before he sat on the ground defeated. He put his head in his hands and sobbed. He had just lost the most important person in his life and there was nothing he could do.
