Mother looks at me and I pull back a curtain of a painting I've done of the lights and sigh "I want to see the floating lights" she looks at me "don't mumble you know I hate the mumbling!" I look at her "I want to see the floating lights..."

She laughs "you mean the starts..." I shake my head "no....mother....the stars are in the sky every night....these lights appear only on my birthday.....and I can't help but to feel.....as if they're meant....for me" she sighs "so what are you asking for?"

I gulp and jump down to her "I want to go and see the lights and not just from my window....i want to be able to see them in person! Please mother!" She looks at me and then walks to the window and closes it
"You want to go outside? Why, Kookie...

I sigh and nod "I know but..." She cuts me off

She laughs "Yes!"

I gulp still scared and look around "But --"

She continues to scare me
"Also large bugs
Men with pointy teeth, and

I run and hug her but gasp when I see I'm hugging a maniquin

I see her behind me so I quickly turn around and she leans against the stair case

"Go ahead, get trampled by a rhino
Go ahead, get mugged and left for dead

I run to her and hug her tightly and she strokes my hair and makes me move back a little And she sighs "jungkook?"

I look down and sigh "yes mother..."

She giggles "I love you most....Don't forget it,You'll regret it......mother knows best!"

he then uses my hair to climb down and outside "see you in a bit my flower!!!" I watch her walk away and I sigh "I'll be here... waiting"

I stay where I am letting my hair blow in the wind. Kooky sits next to me and I sigh "I guess we're stuck here forever hey" kooky sits in my hand and I then walk inside and look at the man with pointy teeth she painted

Why don't I have pointy teeth?....am I not a man??.....I look down and then walk to my bedroom and lay down and hum to myself "maybe.....I could escape..." I sit up and look at kooky who shakes his head.

I sigh "maybe it's the night thing to do kooky!....while mother is away and then we'll come back and she won't know a thing!....when mother comes back I'll ask for some of the paints she got me from the other side of the kingdom and we'll have three days to do it! Kooky....that's all I want....is to see them in person"

Kooky lays down next to me and I look down and then look out a small window in my room "I just want to know what it's like out there......"
