JUNGKOOKS POV

I giggle a little running away from mother who was trying to brush my hair. She catches me and I laugh, she smiles "you have some lovely hair now jungkook" she sits down and I sit in front of her and giggle "it's already very long mother...can we cut it?"

She gasps "no! Definitely not! Long hair suits you....don't you like your hair?" I giggle and nod "of course i do mother!" She brushes my hair "sing for me son" I take a deep breath and then smile and sing for her and my hair starts to glow

Mother kisses my head "I can't believe you're eight already! You're growing up to be a very very handsome young man" I smile and she then walks to her bedroom and closes the door.
I walk to the only window in the whole tower.

I open it and giggle seeing the floating lights in the sky. I lean my head on my arms and sigh a little "I wonder what those lights are....maybe mother will take me to see them when I get older!" I smile and then close the window and walk back to my room.

I lay on my bed looking around at the plain walls.....maybe mother will let me paint some!

3rd person

It has been eight full years since the kings had lost their son. And every year the whole kingdom set off floating lanterns Hoping that one day the lost prince would come back home.

Jungkook already has beautiful long hair that Areum (the witch) uses every day when she gets home from her daily walks and things she has to do so she doesn't age.
She has raised jungkook up telling him that she is his mother and because he's only young he believes it and loves his "mother" with all his heart

The young lost prince has been seeing the lanterns light up the night sky on his birthday every year but hasn't thought to ask his mother....not that she would tell the prince anything anyway....
She wants to keep him locked away forever where nobody can find him

Meanwhile

Park jimin, a well known their in the kingdom is currently running with his two friends, jimin is only 11 years old and he is one of the most wanted theives in the whole kingdom, which is the same as his friends Kim taehyung (who was 9 years old) and min yoongi (who was 15 years old) the trio are known theives in the kingdom and they are already planning to steal the crown's from the royal family
