Don't Remember Me

"Sydney-" I heard Draco whisper from behind me

I turned around and looked him in the eyes. I have never seen him like this. It was quite clear that he wasn't sure if he should be afraid of me or not. That's when the reality of what I had just done hit me. I killed someone. Not just killed, I suffocated her until she was practically begging me to kill her. I just used two unforgivable curses. In a matter of minutes.

I am going to Azkaban and I'm never seeing the light of day ever again, that's the best-case scenario.

"Draco I-. I never meant to do that I was just thinking of Lily and-"

"I know, I know" he said as he took me into his arms

"Well, well. What do we have here" I heard Voldemort say from behind my back

"I mean when such a young witch uses such dark magic, the word spreads around fast, but when I heard the person in question was Sydney Evans I needed to see it for myself"

I was looking at him, standing there next to Pansy's and Lily's body with the rest of his Death Eaters. The strange thing is, I wasn't afraid of them.

"I want the same deal you offered Pansy in return for killing my sister"

"Sydney what are you doing?" I heard Draco yell

"Interesting, very interesting." Voldemort smirked

"And why would I want to give you the same deal, why would you be a good addition for my army"he continued

"Because I'm the most dangerous person in the world"

"How so" he chuckled

"You can't hurt me. There's no one left that I love. I have nothing left to live for" I said

"Sydney don't do this" Draco begged

"Very well, welcome to the team Miss Evans"

We headed downstairs when Voldemort stopped, turned around and looked at me.

"That statement was wrong, there is someone left that you love" he said as he gently pointed at Draco

"And Pansy got her deal by killing Lily, she proved she was worthy that way. If you want the same deal you need to prove yourself too" he smiled

"Okay" I gently said as I turned around and faced Draco

"Draco I have to do this. You have your parents to protect you in this war and it's likely that you will come out of it alive. I can't say the same for myself, so if I die, I don't want you to remember me. Because I did some horrible things in my last living hours with you and I know, that when I die it will be all you remember about me. And I don't want that"

"Sydney please don't..." Draco whispered

"I have to"

I slowly lifted my want, pointed it at him and mouthed "I love you" and then proceeded to quietly say

"Obliviate" as a single tear rolled down my face
